Which additional subreddit do we need more?

What we really need is a subreddit that doesn’t get infiltrated by feminist mods who remove valuable content about the reality of anti-male discrimination and effective ways to counter misandry. Every mod should be thoroughly vetted to ensure that they actually support equal rights for men.

I think we just need another for the sake of removing all the negative actions associated with even posting here.

Getting banned from other places because of simply posting in here is some bible thumping levels of exclusionary behavior. Expressing an opinion and then deleting it later to be re accepted into groups doesn't change that that may be how you feel, it just disallows you from being able to express your opinion.

Inevitably, that'll likely attract people who aren't interested in their account standing, whether it be trolls, or otherwise burner accounts that everyone would be at least minutely justified in not taking seriously.

We need a subreddit where there is better moderation. For example, when the megathread was instituted, it completely shutdown virtually most conversation surrounding the tea app on here.

I knew that’s what was going to happen. Because that’s how Reddit works. Mega threads are messy, and disorganized. And many people in mega threads begin to feel like they won’t be heard, and so they don’t bother contributing at all.

And it’s sad that when millions of men were actively having their rights violated, they were limited in their ability to share their experiences in a sub that is dedicated TO MENS RIGHTS.

There needs to be less gatekeeping and users of the sub should feel free to discuss any topics related to the theme of the sub that concerns them.

I’ve also seen many posts get removed here with no explanation rhyme or reason why.

If you are planning on making a new sub I might not mind being a moderator for it.

I’ve made a sub like that, it’s men only and there’s a mix of both. Guys come to vent and also to ask for help in their daily lives. I’ve done my best to make sure it’s men-only and so far it seems to be going well (r/menslives)

I think we need both, it's hard to say which is more important. But I feel like everyone needs places to feel more comfortable and to vent without judgment. I hope my answer can help you decide.

R/everydaymisandry is a good one. It basically is like this sub but won't get the annoying criticism "YoU dOn'T eVeN tAlK aBoUt RiGhtS" because some people can't comprehend that people may want to vent. Also no one makes the same complains on feminism subreddits when they hate men.

Same for other subs that point out the double standards

Mayve create a monthly or weekly tavern talk / guy talk / shoot the shit and maybe a separate pinned vent thread.

So to break it down:

Advice, help, current things of import - main sub.

Hanging out with the guys, and being chill, shooting the shit - Tavern

Venting - Vent thread

Would be cool if you could vent in the tavern but what you don't want is just complaints, and an echo chamber of negativity or misguided views toward women or life, in the main sub or the place to unwind.

On the flip side, maybe to keep things simple, a better thing would be to have the entire sub just be more like a tavern, or guys room, a chill spot, or club, where you hang out with the guys.

Maybe forget the news, and constant posts of fucked up shit happening between the sexes...

I'd rather just have a chill place to hang with the guys. It doesn't always have to be a battle, or a fight, or some crusade all the time.

It can just be for men to real talk with other men, and just chill like men do talking about all sorts of stuff, and for discussing the realities of life and navigating men's challenges.

Quote often, I see replies from men who probably spend way too much time on here whose views are completely skewed, and fucked up.

They have this us vs. them attitude, instead us and them.

You don't want more of that...

I'm a simple man. I believe in balance, and moderation. The middle way.

I believe in unity, and in removing distortion and in reducing suffering in the world.

Men need women, and women need men. Its that simple. 2 become 1. We are meant to work together.

Also, the best way to manage anything, is to remove roadblocks, and simply get out of the way.

You could run a pretty good sub on just those principles.

It will get banned like every other male centric subreddit did/does.

The way reddit do it now, is they ban/remove all the moderators then ban the subreddit because it's un-moderated.

We need an ‘arranging for like-minded men to meet in their local areas and support each other offline’ subreddit!

You see, men have 'vented' and will be ‘venting’ for all of time I can assure you, because those that they're venting about do..not..change. (Okay, I’ll say ‘rarely’ change, for the hopeful here).

Honestly…I truly believe men getting off the internet and supporting each other in person will transform their plight, their mental situation…overnight.

So, outside the scope of your ‘partner subreddit’, idea, I suppose.
