The thing I hate so much when this is pointed out when feminists fight back with "Well men are just lazy" or "Men are pushed into trades" or something like that. Yes, all men are lazy and all men are pushed into careers in trades. That is why starting from an early age of 7, boys greatly underperform in school compared to their female peers.

Like the U.S., many countries have been focusing on girls and women in education to the detriment of males. I see at least two related problems with this:

Women are more likely to drop out of the workforce. We are putting the educational emphasis on the sex that will benefit from it least.
Societies are still hypergamous. More women than men earning degrees doesn’t mean they want to marry a less educated man. They still want to marry up and be provided for, but this education gap along with policies like affirmative action for women and women owned business advantages make women’s desires to marry up unattainable, thus their complaint there are no good men.

I honestly don't think this will work out well... for the women.

As AI greatly reduces a lot of white collar clerical office work (the jobs women generally prefer), a lot of women will have gotten useless degrees in bullshit fields and be saddled with student debt whilst having fewer economic opportunities.

Meanwhile, the trades remain male-dominated. Tradesmen are already making quite good money in many countries (the market price is adjusting because we've artificially overproduced university-educateds and underemphasized vocational education).

There's already a lot of literature on Credential Inflation (college degrees becoming less useful as everyone gets one), so we know this is happening.

The real crisis for men will be when women start demanding student debt forgiveness, bachelor taxes and the like.

When was the last time someone heard of a University closing down due to lack of funding? -- Seemingly, towns/cities would rather Hospitals and small businesses shut down before those colleges do. I'd say, it's time to re-assess the current education system.
