The murder of Charlie Kirk is a political and personal tragedy. But, sadly, many men are so starved of positive role models and basic sympathy that anyone who criticizes feminist and man-bashing is seen as a hero:

Charlie Kirk saved my life : r/MensRights

Or a bit earlier:

MRAs should reject PETER HITCHENS' conservative lament that feminism turned women into 'wage slaves with nightmare lives'. The male breadwinner gender stereotype is not good for men. : r/MensRights

I get it, people like Kirk, Peterson, or Hitchens have an appeal and certainly a point when telling young men to get their shit together and find meaning in life.

But these conservatives will be the first to shit on you once you stop providing value for women and society. They will be the first to throw you into trenches or out of a lifeboat to make a place for a woman. They will never advocate for workplace safety, male suicides, or healthcare research spending injustice. These people push harmful stereotypes of male gender roles. As much as we have common enemies (the feminists), Kirk was not your friend.

CHARLIE KIRK: “Let me tell the men out there, you do not spend a dime on video games or sports games or things for yourself until your wife does not have to worry about finances. You come last in the family when it comes to finances. Period. That is your job.”

RIP Charlie Kirk.
