Same shit - study looks at GROSS TOTAL EARNINGS for all men and women and draws a comparison. We don't need to consider trivialities like, say, hours worked, years of experience, location, or education level. No, we can tell everything we need to know by looking at the number of dollars earned by men and the number of dollars earned by women. That tells the whole story. Yup. Legit.

The article contradicts itself. It starts out claiming discrimination against women but then goes on to admit women choose easier jobs and less hours which of course means less pay.

Many studies have shown that the main releasing women earn less is that they work fewer hours, choose less dangerous and less stressful jobs, etc.

Studies similarly show that women just out of college out earn men just out of college, clearly showing employers are happy to pay women as much or more than men. The pay gap only kicks in when women marry and have a husband to support them.

Women are always paid well. They are simply not paid with wage.

For example, women that got knocked up by Bill Gates, got all her children supported by Bill Gates. Yes, financial support is not the same with payment, but that is something women consider and do get. Things of part of benefit package of being Bill Gate's wife.

Complaining that there is wage gap favoring men is like complaining that Jeff Bezos only have $83k salary and Zuckerberg only have $1 salary.

The whole part where the author complains about motherhood taking away from womens earning potential is feminism in a nutshell to me. Women have the privilege of being the primary caregivers. A privilege thar becomes truly apparent in family courts where women get custody a large majority of the time.

This is feminism and their expectations. They fully expect to be the breadwinner and the caregiver.
