My housemate ambushed me last night. It wasn’t appropriate, and it was deliberate. After our history, she still shows a total lack of respect for the fact that I do not support feminism. She tried to humiliate me and succeeded in upsetting me.

What gets me is that when feminists reduce heterosexual relationships to transactions — that is, when they claim men are only interested in one thing and have repressed women throughout history to get it — they reveal how they understand human relationships and the nature of their own existence. Men and women both commodify human relationships; this shows that they are what are commonly called “users.”

If a feminist admits that men are not all users, much of their other bull-shit can no longer be justified as a gender issue, and they are not actually a feminist — and perhaps don’t hate their father for “using” their mother.
