This SubReddit is truly special in that it provides a place for many to share their experiences without being criticized or dismissed. It's a community that we can turn to where we know we will be heard in a society that would rather have us silenced.

I do not come on here often, but in the time I’ve browsed l've recognized the presence of what can best be described as "trolls/saboteurs". People coming to this sub, with the intent of antagonizing those who truly believe in the cause. Some of these people are very good at what they do, and they come here for no other reason than to incite reactions from you.

Why would they do this you might ask? It might seem like innocent trolling, just someone looking for a debate to pass the time, but I strongly suspect that many of them are here to agitate people in hopes of garnering enough negative attention to have this sub shut down.

I am passionate about the cause, and I know it can be very tempting to engage with people who write certain things, but you need to understand that there is a very good chance that much of what you see here is not genuine, but rather a trap. Saying things for no other reason than to make you act out of pocket.

I believe people should be able to converse in whichever manner they would like to, and have free speech on any topic so long as nobody is being physically harmed. However, in this world, we all know things are far from ideal and there are many who wish to silence certain topics or control the narrative.

In my opinion…

This is not the place to "convince" anybody to see things our way. And many people play ignorant and act like they do not understand, which presents an opportunity for others to respond. There are many that casually speak, acting as though they believe certain things that are completely ridiculous or illogical, in hopes that someone will “call them out” or get upset. It comes in many forms. You just need to remember that not everyone you come across is genuine.

I suggest that people focus on conversing with those that share a similar outlook, supporting the ones who post, and the people that actually care about the cause, rather than attempting to engage with the ones who clearly aren't on the same page as us. Ignore those that come here looking for trouble, it won’t lead to anything good, and it could actually be detrimental if it did affect the subs good standing.
