I just read another user's post about telling his wife he was going to record their conversation, and it didnt go well and it made me think of something as I prep for divorce.

My wife is extremely high tempered at times. Has anyone recorded conversations(its legal in my state, one party consent) that could turn nasty to prove to a judge that I deserve at least 50/50 custody?

I could see her trying to pull some shit by saying I'm verbally abusive or something, which to her is just me going through credit card purchases and asking questions. Verbal abuse to her is just me not lying down and accepting everything shes ever done. Not sure how seriously a judge takes these claims without proof from her..
