Being gay has been literally illegal in most countries throughout history, even today a lot of countries in Africa and Asia have either prison or death sentence for LGBT people (with the women of those countries also contributing to it). When and where has it been illegal (literally, not "metaphorically" nor "symbolically") to be a woman?

This is literally how women (would like to) act. If they could, and had the punch of Mike Tyson, they'd absolutely beat down a (ugly) man just at the possibility of him being attracted to them. Straight men who feel insulted by (the possibility of) gay men being attracted to them are just women but with a penis instead of a vulva.

What's weird about this is that it's basically acknowledging that women can be, or very much are, heterophobic and will actively treat male attention the way a homophobic man would, and then either try to normalize it or pretend like this isn't a problem.

What's even weirder is this idea that homophobia is about men fearing men treating them the way they treat women, which is is not only a projection or assumption that relies on heterophobia being the norm, but also very wrong.

Most men who are homophobic would only react this extremely to that kind of attention from another man because they are afraid of being perceived as gay themselves. They are afraid of being perceived as gay themselves because women tend to be incredibly unforgiving and brutal when it comes to judging men.

Men can and often do lose out of sexual and romantic opportunities because of how women judge them, sometimes just bases on first impressions alone. Men react strongly and negatively to their masculinity and heterosexuality being questioned because women react so negatively to any perceived lack of masculinity or heterosexuality.

I hate this allegory deeply. I have never actually seen this irl, even among gay dudes, that its common to just stare for a while (though there is a minority that do) at dudes. Most dudes however do tend to appreciate if a guys good looking or compliment them too and 90% dont take it bad whatsoever. In fact Gen Z genuine adult male homophobia is pretty rare, although most men may have internal homophobia / fear of being gay due to extreme societal pressure, most guys are genuinely chill. No, most guys don't care if a gay guy respectfully complimented them or whatever
