Not selling anything here, but just letting you know that this is my job (to photograph guys for their dating profiles). So I do this a lot, and this trick is something I came to over time. These pics do exceptionally well for almost everyone. It is typically the highest rated pic we get from our photoshoot when we test the pics on Photofeeler after. Here goes:

  1. Put on your most formal outfit (suit, blazer etc.)
  2. Style your hair
  3. Go to a church outside of service hours.
  4. Take pics of you around the church, with the church walls / steps, and main doors as backgrounds.

Either use a tripod, or get someone to photograph you.

The whole point of this type of photo is that you have the perfect excuse for why the photo was taken and why you're so well-dressed and neat looking. You are "obviously" there for a wedding or some kind of event at the church. DuhπŸ˜‰

Not only does it communicate that you're the type of connected guy that gets invited to weddings. The whole "church and suit" combo is what women associate with getting married to the perfect guy. Plus, a suit is already something most women find extremely attractive. You get the "high status" vibe, without looking contrived.

Bonus tips:
If you do have someone to photograph you with a good kit, shoot with the typical wedding lens like 70-200 or similar. That will make it even better. You'll get away with the PRO look, because the photo is "obviously" taken by a pro wedding photographer. So it makes perfect sense and doesn't come across as trying too hard or like you actually did a dedicated photoshoot. It was just pure luck they captured you at that moment at this event.

So just a little hack I wanted to share. Basically, how to look appealing AF, without looking fake or try-hard.
