Don't make fun of the people she talks about, it shows jealousy.

Instead, smirk and say, "oh yeah?"

You will come off as a gronk. Be careful. So constantly use, "oh yeah?" and look away and show you're completely uninterested anytime she tries to bring you into her frame with jealousy or stupidity. It's your time with her. She needs to show some respect or get nexted. She is doing this only because she finds you weak, you're right, it's a form of a shit test. Would she do this to Chad? I don't think so. I damn sure don't let girls pull this with me. They try ONCE and I hit with oh yeah and show complete lack of interest and they get the point.

Use push pull tactics more aggressive on this one... she is a flagrant whore and needs more of an emotional roller coaster ride than you're currently giving her.

If she mentions (especially after sex) that a guy is "super attractive", you should be worried. He makes sexual jokes with her AND he's a dick (aka alpha)? RED ALERT.

However, fret not my friend. If the guy is truly an alpha he is not dumb enough to shit where he eats because he has an abundance mentality and your chick is just another woman. If the guy shows interest and makes a move on a chick at work (who is his boss), he's a thirsty beta at heart. And either way, she's a woman, so she's going to do whatever the fuck she wants whenever the fuck she wants and you can't stop her.

Anytime a girl I'm with mentions another guy in a favorable light, I respond with something along the lines of, "He sounds great. You should fuck him."/"What did you used to blow him or something?" Both obviously said with a knowing smile. Because, guess what?: If she wants to fuck him or used to blow him, there is nothing you can do to change it anyway. The subtext of these comments is, "That's cute that you're trying to throw me off my game. If you keep it up, you're going to have no other option than that other dude. Is that what you want?" Of course not. She wants to fuck you; that's why she's fucking you.

She invests in the relationship a bit less than I do but generally she's up for shared effort.

I know I should push for balancing or having her invest more but I'm comfortable with our current arrangement.

You shouldn't push for anything. You can behave in a way that will make her invest more (dread game), or you can invest less. Women are like children; the more you insist or ask that they do something, the less likely they are to do it.

You can make it about her insecurities or you can make it about guys being dogs that will hump anything or both.

/u/PragmaticRedTruth's disinterested "oh yeah?" is very good.

I personally say, "what's that?" with a tone as if she's said something very stupid. I say it a little louder than is necessary too as if I'm drawing social attention to her (this is super effective in a group because now everyone is tuned in to her statement). Then she repeats herself and often tries to explain what she was saying more in depth/why she's not a bitch for saying it. While she repeats herself I stare at her/judge her with a completely blank face.

Now that she realizes her comment has made her seem like a shallow bitch, I rub it in.

I disbelievingly raise my eyebrows, purse my lips, nod, and grunt at what she's said then turn to my phone/whatever to deny her attention.

Final Note: She's acting this way because you're not leading the relationship correctly. You need to be teasing/knocking her off her center of emotional balance. She should want you and feel emotionally vulnerable around you. She shouldn't be comfortable trying to make you jealous. She should be trying to hold onto you.

It so common for a woman to cheat with an annoying asshole they cant stand.

Like so many she doesn't know what she really wants or needs because it not what she thinks it is, pretty obvious though.

She may never level out in the long run. To much emotional maintenance needed.

You could always just amplify it as a game to call her out on it. Your mouth to her neck, "oh you are so desirable, men will risk their marriages and jobs to fuck you and here I am the envy of them all."

Then fuck her, she will realize you see through her insecurity, and attempt at manipulation.
