Some background: when I was 31, the man I expected to marry (and had dated for six years) called to tell me he'd met someone. He married her the next day. That rocked my world, and it took me a few years of counseling to get past it. Since then, I haven't met anyone I've loved (hell, I've barely met anyone I've liked), and I've gone on well over 100 dates.

The majority of the women on FDS seem to be very young. But I'm about to turn 37, and that combined with the ongoing pandemic has gotten me very, very low. It's very important to me to have children, and I can't handle the logistics of that without a partner.

My question is: do any of the FDS rules change past 35 (for instance, dating a divorced dad)?

Are my dating prospects so slim now that I should just not bother and start saving up for IUI or IVF?
