It's actually so weird but I was asked these types of questions before by men. Like when I was still on OLD and I'd go on dates with new people sometimes they'd ask: "Who do you live with?Oh you don't have roommates?" and they'd be surprised at that. I was so confused why it was so shocking that I live by myself? I was in my late 20s

I don't think I'd answer those kind of questions. Basic info might be necessary but I also don't want to help someone determine I'm an easy target for a burglary or kidnapping.
Yes I believe The Gift of Fear or some other recommended reading, advises against letting men know that you live alone.
