For various factors, some in my control and some not, I missed out on the social experience of college. No partying, hookups, spring breaks or any of that fun stuff for me. What sucks more is I missed out on friendships with cool fun people and experiencing fun events and things in life with them as well. I graduated without much of a social circle at all of young fun or young cool friends and now I am in my mid 20s, miserable over it.

My dating life is decent, can get laid through dating apps alone. Yet I feel like my social experience needs more than dates and sex, like I don't belong to any social group that is fun and cool or get to party with fun cool people. It is driving me insane too some days, I have a nice paying job that is about an 85k salary and potential to make six figures in a year or so yet I feel like I will never be fulfilled until I get this resolved.

Yet I do not even know where to even start.

It is so tough to find fun party crowds after college. Everyone else has "matured" while I never had the chance to engage in fun social experiences in the first place. I am depressed almost daily about this.

I joined some social groups but they were too "clean" for me, I found the whole motivational and self-help garbage to be garbage, a waste of my fucking time. Its like I see myself dying on the inside because of not having had that fun in my life.

At times I have thought of quitting my job to be a club promoter but that seems rash. Its like I have so much going for me on paper but I am so fucking miserable because of what I missed out on.

Any advice or thoughts?
