Absolute newbie here, I've looked at the rules and i think this is appropriate to ask but i'm sorry if i got it wrong,

Came across the red Pill handbook online and started giving it a read knowing nothing about any of it. Prior to reading the start of the book i thought trp was a Machiavellian "be an Alpha at all costs, step on the betas" group but nothing i was reading seemed to suggest that, so i'm just a little confused as to the overall 'message' if you will of trp? Most of the points that are being laid out i generally agree with but what's confusing me is that it keeps bringing all of it back to sex as if that's the one and only measuring stick for success and happiness in life?

It seems to hinge on whether Red Pill is a guide to help get laid in the modern age (and if so then naturally sex would be the obvious measuring stick for success) or if it's more of a life philosophy for men? (In which case does trp believe that basically getting as much sex with as many women is the ultimate goal?) As a straight guy who has kept very fit through boxing training BUT who's not overly bothered about frequent sex (at least after i started having it, before then it was pretty much the only thing on my mind) i'm just interested in trp member thoughts?

I'm not trying to argue/debate any of it, i'm just looking for clarification on what trp is. Thanks.
