I'm currently working a job which pays fairly well for my needs. I have a nice little house paid for, a car paid for, and all the necessary appliances and technology I could ever need. I also have enough money to go on an adventure every now-and-then.

With this in mind, I basically have no motivation to invest my money aggressively to become a millionaire or something. I have no wife/GF and never will; I have no kids/dependents so if I dropped dead the next minute, no one's standard of living will really change. I have no motivation to invest and squeeze every cent I can when my current salary makes me live comfortably easily while still being able to put money away without scrimping and saving for every cent.

I mean my most expensive month since my house and car was paid for, only had me spending 87% of my monthly salary and in that month I paid for a two way ticket to Germany and bought a few little goodies while there.

I don't need to worry about leaving money for a family line when I die, because like I said I have no kids, my genetic line stops here. And to be 100% honest, if a really hard time came, and I lost my job and couldn't work, I don't mind going buck-wild, spending all my money on fun things and adventures until I have $0 left in my account and then taking the big sleep. I've lived a good life already, there's not much I really "need to" do to feel any happier or more accomplished with my life.

Would love to get your opinions on my thinking here...
