Yeah I think she will lose steam and the gears will shift. If you guys are banging a lot more then you must be turning her on more. You are connecting to her on a primal level even though her learned social cognition can't reconcile her loss of power and your new dominating masculinity at this time. Fighting can be productive but only if your points are based on logic and reason. You can talk about your feelings and anger and annoyance and desire for respect. You can demonstrate your own humanity with a logical tone while still maintaining frame. After all isn't TRP about the natural order of mankind? Help her see the light. Don't drag/push her into it

You're not alone. It sucks, but hang in there. They'll come around to your leadership, in time, and that's what frame is all about and why it's so much touted.

I have 2 friends with wives/LTRs that have legit mental health issues - the medicate or bust kind. Both of them recently went up in the world, one as a government analyst, the other as a startup.

One was in a totally BP relationship with 2 kids, got cheated on and tried to keep it afloat but failed. His ex kept losing her shit for a while, but he RP'd the fuck up. Now that he's on his A-game, she's a cooperative mother and he bangs around. Can't win em all, but they're in a good place after the separation, largely thanks to his new found frame.

The other was a stressed out mess. Dropping in and out of school, making ends meet as a freelance jack-of-all-trades tech guy, perpetually several thousands in the red. His wife had worse and worse manic attacks every year, couldn't keep a job even when life was "good". He got a successful project going, making good money - not millions - but debt free and doing something he loves. She is now well-behaved, has a part-time job she's been keeping for a while, no weird repressed behaviour and the cherry on top: she's pregnant after failing for 7 years.

It's normal to doubt yourself in a shift such as the one you're undertaking: you have new problems you're unaccustomed to dealing with. But rest assured, you're upgrading to a much better class of problems with much more desireable outcomes. Hang in there.

You cannot protect your children from their mother.

They will take a hit. First thing you have to do is realize that.

Now, more precisely, there is not much you can effectively do to deter her from exercising her negative influence. However, what you can do, is provide your kids with counter-examples of healthy behaviors, through your own behaviors. Don't make it antagonistic to their mother, just expose them to your style, as she exposes them to hers.

In order to do this effectively, you need to spend time alone with them, without the presence of their mother. Normal time too, don't become an entertainment-park dad. Have in mind that this is going to have a toll on your time and business- nothing is free.

One way to go would be to set a couple of days per week when you, solely, are "in charge" of the children's needs. Everything, from their food to their clothing. These mundane tasks provide the framework of "normality" and rhythm in which parental influence is naturally exercised. So, don't heed to her complaints that you will be "stealing the mother's role" - and certainly don't fall to the trap to consider them "woman's work".

The only thing that might possibly save you is if she tends toward laziness and doesn't want to have to look for a job. Make that your metric -- if what you expect of her is less unpleasant than working to support herself, she'll stick around. The fact that she has started putting out like a pro is a good sign that she really doesn't want to go to work.

I'm willing to bet that she is already checked out of the relationship, and might have already pulled the plug.

You might be unplugging but you're still not unplugged. Your writings are not clear and concise and talk more about your feelings and her feelings than about your actions. You complain about your sex life, and then still say that you are having more sex, that sounds like a covert contract between you an your wife.

You've talking about how your earning potential is soaring, that just makes you an even better beta bucks provider. Women don't love their betas, they resent betas, but they keep betas around as long as betas keep in their boxes. The craziness is her exasperation that you aren't behaving how a beta should, nor are you likely leading effectively like an alpha would either. She's likely frustrated, and certainly not surrendered.
