Swallowing the Red Pill comes in waves. One must reassess thought patterns, actions and behaviors. On a conscious level you may agree with the Red Pill, yet you may allow old beliefs to impair your ability to act in your best interest. Because of the plastic nature of the mind, lessons must be consistently reinforced. Here is a brief field report to give you examples of how missing a dose and accepting old ideas leads to loss of frame and unfavorable outcomes.

I dropped a plate when she proposed being exclusive. At the time I told myself that her proximity to a fruitful social circle warranted especially gentlemanly behavior. I quietly and gently dropped her. During the process and afterwards I would tell myself that she’s a nice girl, and I shouldn't spin her. One many levels I felt great. I was the good guy, and I had another plate and would soon pick up more. I would run into her at parties and enjoy chatting. I loved seeing my phone blow up from potential plates mid-conversation and I would often end our chats early. I also brought in new girls (equal or better attractiveness) into the social circle. I was running dread game on her without the desire to sleep with her. Eventually we find ourselves out dancing with friends. She buys me a drink (This is how you know you’re doing something right), we talk, and she asks me “Why don’t we sleep together anymore?” I remind her that I don’t want anything serious, and she says she's on the same page. I tell her we’ll discuss it later, more sober, and in private. After some sexual dancing, I drive her home. During the walk to the car she expresses that she really does want something casual, and I spent the night at her place.

When a girl communicates explicitly it is a last resort. She’s run out of options, and is forced to tell you something in her most unnatural way. Seeing her in this state showed me that she was down for being spun, and she would have loved to have not been dropped at all. It also reinforces the effectiveness of dread game. Dropping her was the correct move to enforce my own personal expectations (I remain non-exclusive) in a clear and direct way. Showing my ability to disengage enabled tight dread game, and gave her all kinds of tingles. She even confessed to looking me up online and discovering some of my professional achievements.

There was nothing wrong with spinning her and I would like to be able to tell you that I’m still spinning her, but that’s not the case. While dropping her was the right move, I lost frame while I dropped her because of the thought patterns I accepted. My motivation should have been solely my own personal boundaries and expectations, but I placed too much weight on ideas of her being a “nice girl”. After our last interaction the frame she saw was too purple. Part of me knew she was a plate, but part of me saw her as a friend to be nice to, and I slipped partially into my old pre-RP ways. She dropped me for the next branch. Even worse the thought pattern bled out into my interactions with other women. I started discounting some of them as potential plates. While I am not thrilled about being dropped, the lesson has been extremely valuable.

Hold your frame gents. AWALT, no exceptions. There is nothing wrong with spinning plates. Do not make the mistake of believing that there some women are too special to be spun. Without fail all potential/past/current plates have proven themselves willing and worthy of the honor of being spun.
