Make eye contact with women walking with their boyfriends and you can see AWALT in action.

[–]PieroDrawsRandomCrap16 points17 points18 points 11 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

This happened to me yesterday after coming out of the gym, I was all pumped and feeling great when this girl holding hands with her boyfriend stared at my face from like 30 feet away and keep staring/smiling all the way until they went past me. I felt bad for the chump but she was damn hot so it lifted my ego quite a lot.

I like watching the girlfriends eyes subconsciously go from my face to my crotch. It's a blink-and-you'll-miss-it thing.

Pickle wrapped in a tube sock, don't fail me now!

[–]mkalajian33 points34 points35 points 11 years ago (18 children) | Copy Link

don't look away, if you're making eye contact with a hot girl guess what she is doing the same thing

[–]widec23 points24 points25 points 11 years ago (16 children) | Copy Link

Look away after. Breaking eye contact first means submission.

[–]Endorsed ContributorrebuildingMyself50 points51 points52 points 11 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Even if you walk past them and have to walk backwards to keep it.

[–]football10102 points3 points4 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

How does that generally play out ?

[–]damstraight40 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I find it is best to follow them home, or to their destination. If it is dark out it is also good to walk behind them at a sporatic pace while mumbling to yourself. Pepperspray is a woman's way of marking her terrority.

Easier said than done, especially when they make eye contact with you unexpectedly. It takes practice but it won't be long before you can hold eye contact with anyone without looking away (I'll admit some mean looking motherfuckers will make me look away first on occasion).

Why do it with other men? Particularly random strangers. The only upside there is a potentially violent confrontation.

Eye locking a pretty girl might lead to sex. Probably won't, but there's also not much chance she's gonna get threatened and punch you in the throat.

[–]Gilkanese7 points 11 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

Say what? What are your random interactions with strangers typically like that make your mind automatically jump to throat-punching?

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points4 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

It's hard to explain. You gain a lot of new perspective in the world when you can look at strangers, male and female, in the eye without fear of an insanely unlikely confrontation. You realize you used to be that nervous looking guy who instantly averts his gaze from yours, and he doesn't even know how submissive a gesture that is.

Oftentimes, it is those who fear confrontation that are confronted most.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Maintaining eye contact doesn't have to be a stare-down. Your facial expression and body language all come into play. Be confident, relaxed, and in a decent mood and very few guys are going to get all in your face about it. It's when you stare and simultaneously have poor or submissive body language that they'll come after you.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Still not getting it.

I guess the upside as you see it is some kind of feeling of self-esteem from staredowns. I mean, you can say it's not a staredown but if you're locking eyes and refusing to break until the other person does, that's a staredown.

I don't need that, personally. If men misinterpret the fact that I'm not getting into a staring contest with them I can correct that swiftly if the need arises which it almost never does.

I don't feel the need to prove anything to random strangers. By the way if you flip this around to talk about eye contact within a social or work circle I'm totally on board because in those situations, it matters.

My domicile is in the mid-west, where throat punching (from either male or female) is exceedingly rare. Maintaining eye contact with men does make you feel more self-respect and appreciation for fellow men.

[–]cashmoney_x0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Please stop saying domicile for fuck's sake.

Now hopefully it's easier for you to spot the word you should never use.

Look away after. Breaking eye contact first means submission.

This is a popular opinion that is very wrong.

Are you honestly telling me that if we happen to look at each other, I've unknowingly entered into a staring contest with you? And furthermore, if I have other more important shit to look at, I've submitted to you?

So, let me get this straight. I'm at the grocery store when I lock eyes with a 10 year old. Holy fuck!! It's on! Seriously, I need to get to aisle 5 to pick up some soup, but I'll be damned if I'm going to submit to this this little hood-rat. What exactly are the stakes here? What happens if I subit to him and go on with my business?

Ok, so what if it's some roided out monster... maybe 24 years old, wearing a tank top? Then what? If I don't continue the staring contest, then I submit? Let's say he has shit to do and breaks eye contact. Awesome! That means he's submitted to me now. How can I use this submission to my advantage? Does this mean I get to fuck his girlfriend? Can I go flick his nose? What can I do with this magical advantage I've gained?

That's a key practice, and it's very safe to perfect on women.

To a woman, it sub-communicates exciting sexual dominance ("you are my bitch").

To a man, it sub-communicates an implicit challenge ("you are my bitch").

Just bit of advice, don't try to be all "non-threatening" at it and worry about them being intimidated, own it.

You are a man, you are always threatening, that's exciting and wonderful. Should the woman use some excuse to start a convo with you, THEN she gets to find out you're also pleasantly civil, raw power held perfectly in check and controlled. The stuff of girly wet dreams, why shouldn't that be you?

What a fantastic way of looking at it. Thanks friend. I just had my Sunday-morning-mind-fuck.

[–]RPSavant1 point2 points3 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

you pretty much said it for me. Trying to be non threatening is a dangerous slippery slope to be on and is pretty much the go to play of Beta behavior. One either tries to alter their behavior to please another person (beta) or just says fuk it and behaves naturally.

[–]DougieTheCaker7 points8 points9 points 11 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Funny cause i notice being sleepy/dopey I have zero anxiety and am way better socially...

Tired game#!

Hashtags, you're doing them wrong.

[–]elscorcho19917 points8 points9 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I agree, I think people cannot handle the eye contact without at least waving or saying something, or maybe something else. It's what humans are supposed to do anyway, I get such satisfaction from eye contact with anyone.

[–]Theopaulson 4 points5 points6 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I started doing this as soon as I swallowed the red pill. I use it now to gauge where I am at in regards to my SMV. What type of women look back and hold eye contact? Who looks away with a bit of blush in their cheeks? Who does not even give me another second? hah.

It has helped me gain confidence in my appearance and also recognize that I got some work to do to get to the point where 8/9s will take my eye contact as an invitation.

I also notice other alpha males making eye contact right back and acknowledging me as 'one of them'. Right away I noticed strong males look right back and head nod or acknowledge. So I started doing the same thing. Now I am talking with random people, gaining confidence, learning more and more how to talk with strangers, and attracting certain types of women. It has helped me gain more friendships with dudes, something I was lacking. No one wants a weak ass male around.

Great advice I read on here somewhere, make eye contact with everyone. See what happens.

[–]busior2 points3 points4 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

step up the game - look them straight in the eye and say 'You will suck my asshole', hold and maintain eye contact to assert dominance /joke

[–]Wheatspin 1 point2 points3 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

This is something I think anyone with confidence issues should work on. You don't have to get it right every time but when you do you feel empowered.

[–]Billetbill0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

Good on you, there is nothing wrong with good old fashioned eye contact. It's something many people in this era are missing. I am glad this post is about using eye contact to meet people, or initiate something. I remember a post a few weeks ago about this US or Uk guy walking down the street when he was visiting Asia. Bumping into people and staring people down because they were a bit smaller than him, as if for his next trick he would whip out his 16 inch titanium cock and skull fuck everyone in a 30 block radius. Eye contact can be good, bad, dominant, submissive, or make someone look just plain crazy.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I remember someone doing that about a year ago. Weird.

[–]myepicdemise0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Any context about the post?

[–]Billetbill0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

It was a post about seeming more dominant on the street, one guy posted about how he was in Asia, and was walking down the sidewalk not moving out of the way for anybody, and making eye contact. Post wasn't too good and was from almost a month back..

[–]myepicdemise1 point2 points3 points 11 years ago* (0 children) | Copy Link

Which is totally what TRP isn't about. If he really is the better male out of the others, there isn't a need to overtly show his dominance, but to just be himself. His behaviour showed insecurity and desperation, and women could probably see that (if his intention was to attract females). I don't know what he was thinking.

[–]bbidabbong 0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I am trying to keep the eye contact with strangers. But I have pretty aggressive stance naturally, I have a lot of muscles, and tatooed arms. So I guess I look threatening and people generally avoid eye contacting me, or they submit very quick. Which is fine with girls, if nothing else.

Other group of people I maintain eye contact with is people like bodyguards, big guys, or any guy from executive board in my company.

[–]laere0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I do this at work all the time. Easy to see who will compete and who submits easily. Its fun.

[–]nothere_0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

idk honestly if i look non-threatening but it's a habit of mine to stare/not break away eye contact.this happened at a restaurant/bar when I was with 2 older relatives, we were eating and drinking and at the table in front of us was a couple and their female friend, while the couple were smooching this girl moved her chair into my line of sight and had her phone up at chin level whilst staring dead at me,ofc habits die really hard and i didn't stop until her friend gestured she should go over to our table, she refused and i laughed then enjoyed the night out.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

This is really weird, I live in a different country and everyone says hi, smiles and nods at each other when they walk past. I have so many conversations with strangers when we're just walking. This has nothing to do with the sub or the point he was making, but its weird to think that other western countries are so different. I'm from NZ and have only ever been to australia

[–]1whatsazipper0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

You went from socially anxious behavior to social behavior. People were friendlier because you stopped being meek.

There are a lot of people out there and many would like to interact with you. You took the first step.

[+]Misteralcala-7 points-6 points-5 points 11 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Maybe they thought they could score some weed off of you. Did weed come up at all in the conversation? You know, marijuana? cannabis? pot? dope? smoke? bud? dank? sticky icky? grandma's glaucoma medicine?

This guy may have a point. OP?
