I'm recently unplugged. I think I was hitting rock bottom and one of my Facebook groups suggested the Rational Male which is what started me on this journey. It's still early days but it is truly eye opening.

Since then I have been voraciously chewing through large amounts of written, video, and audio content to learn more about these red pill concepts. I've got an insatiable appetite to learn, and even to help. I realise I can't really be of help to anyone else, I can barely manage myself at the moment, but its a goal.

I've been married for 14 years, and realise that my use of negative social contracts, my blue pill behaviour, ultimately I am the reason my relationship with my wife is where it is, basically sexless.

That mainly started with the birth of our kids, I mean I probably didn't get it every week before them but It's gotten to the point where on more than one occasion I've gone without for a year.

We mainly don't even sleep in the same bed she sleeps with one of the kids, he's six. Prior his birth she was going to sleep with our other son. I eventually managed to put a stop to that by breaking his reliance on her and instead she started this with our other son.

​

She claims she is just tired all the time and falls asleep there, but that isn't simply not an honest answer.

​

I'm extremely successful leader professionally. Which is why I feel like such an idiot for not providing the same level of leadership in my home. I have always had goals, and my wife has been around long enough to watch me take them down. These days it comes relative ease.

But I am still struggling to apply some of these concepts in the home... Still working at that.

I've been working on myself for a few weeks now, and have been actively trying to run game within our marriage, create dread, change my behaviours, improve myself.

I am a bit out of shape, nothing major, but no excuses; I'm relatively certain I have a much higher SMV.

​

Some of her behaviours have definitely changed, but no change in the sexual department. She appears to have no desire whatsoever, probably, but hopefully not hitting up a Chad.

​

To be honest the way our life is constructed it would be really difficult for her to be visiting a Chad, but women are sneaky, where there is a will, there is a way.

​

She seems 100% devoted to our kids to the detriment of absolutely everything else, but says that she loves me. I suspect she loves the comfort I previously and possibly presently provide.

​

If you haven't moved on to the next post to to the length of this one, my question is: how long should I give it before I decide to throw the towel it and start spinning plates - perhaps the answer is only I know, but from what I have described (though long, lacking a lot of detail.

Does this seem like an futile situation?
