Maintaining frame is turning out to be counter intuitive for me. For perspective lets look at this compared to baseball, which I played a lot growing up. First, we know that an umpire is never supposed to say "You're out" its always "He's out". The intent is not to personalize something that's a penalty. Almost an honor code. Second, when an umpire makes a questionable call, the manager is always supposed to come out and argue with him. It's to motivate the ump to always make good calls or else.

This all goes out the window with female shit testing. My natural inclination is to not take crap from anyone, and argue back, not always necessarily loudly, but always. Keeping solemn and maintaining frame is not what I was brought up with. I don't have anger management issues, it's just that I've internalized this thing that when someone dishes it to you, that you must dish it back or else they'll always try to take advantage.

Yet, here in female shit testing land, arguing back is actually giving her the attention she wants. And not personalizing things, like an honor code? Forget it. Now that I notice it thanks to TRP, women rarely argue just the point, things are almost always turned into a personal attack, even if it's extremely subtle.

I just wanted to get this out there as my observation, now I've got to work to correct it.
