She doesn't actually care about you loading the dishwasher wrong, even though shes complaining about it. Shes really just expressing a general negative emotion, which can be due to anything but often because of dissatisfaction with you and the relationship.

Men think more logically and directly, meaning they assume the wife is unhappy about loading the dishwasher because thats what shes saying, but women use language differently, to a woman she will complain about all sorts of crap she dont really care about or be sweet and supportive of everything if she is feeling depending on how shes feeling, the literal content of the words shes saying takes a back seat to the expression she is displaying via her words.

If she consistently complains about all sorts of crap like this to you its most definitely because shes dissatisfied with you and/or the relationship.

This.

It's basically a barometer to tell you what she thinks of you at any given time. Beta bitches get scolded for loading the dishwasher incorrectly. Chad could load the laundry in there with the dishes and she'd giggle at his carefree attitude.

You have a way with words.

Ahh the ole 'you silly thats the dishwasher fuck me in the ass while you put laundry in there chad the pornstar scene'.

If she's pissed that you loaded the dishwasher wrong, it's not about the dishwasher.

[–]2ndalRed Beret6 points7 points  (1 child) | Copy

Basically: choreplay doesn't work.

edit: while ^ is true, I was wrong; /u/hystericalbonding is right.

[–]ReddJiveRed Beret4 points5 points  (0 children) | Copy

to point out the difference between chore play and doing it because shit gets done

I will load the dishwater so the wife is relaxed and calm so I can make a move

.

I will load the dishwasher because I don't live in filth. Girl, wear that sheer thing...no the other one. Panties? What? Are you new here?

Kindle search for dishwasher in MMSLP 2011:

Section 0.4: what she really wants

> Better understanding her biological wiring means that you can start to adjust your game plan and start doing things that she really wants. Thankfully its not all about learning the correct technique of loading the dishwasher.

Interpretation: you may think that making your wife happy improving your relationship is about choreplay and doing housework better i.e. loading the dishwasher how she likes it. Instead, there's going to be a more fundamental and more radical approach given in the chapters to come.

Section 5.7 female calibration to male

> Of course if she become conscious of her behaviour changing towards her husband, her Rationalization Hamster will come up with several perfectly good reasons for it. Something like his inability to stack the dishwasher right, thus ruining her mood for the evening, would be ideal.

Interpretation: wife starts to feel unconscious loss of attraction to husband after he lets himself go. She doesn't understand this at a conscious level but just feels it somehow. Her conscious mind makes up some bullshit tangible reason she feels bad that she can use to blame it on him. Dishwasher is an exemplar of a whole host of common rationalizations. Others include "he bought the wrong kind of ground beef so I'm angry and not attracted to him", "he plays videogames so much it makes me mad and therefore I'm not in the mood" etc etc.

Section 7.13 You can do this

> Half the time when she's ticked about something minor it's just a symptom of a lack of sexual interest in you. If you were a strapping version of you, do you really think the way you stacked the dishwasher is going to be quite the same drama as if you were a pasty weakling version of you?

Again, dishwasher is being used as an exemplar of common tangible things unhappy wives use to pick on their loser husbands about.

TL;DR seriously, you couldn't have figured this out yourself?

Slow your horses Sally. I haven’t got that far into the book. He does mention it in passing much earlier on (0.4 in your reference). Also, I’ve read that reference on these forums a few times. Just wanted to know. I’ll get back to reading now. Thanks.

you can start to adjust your game plan and start doing things that she really wants.

I'm sure I'm missing a subtlety here (or perhaps a 2x4), but is that not being in her frame?

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

Good question. Made me think. I'd parse the subtlety: "things she wants" (aka getting your shit together and stop acting like a bitch) aren't being dictated by the specific "she" of the relationship. She's not dictating them or manipulating him into them, and he isn't being reactive to her specific demands or worldview in this case. He's acting this way to achieve his end goal of improving himself and by extension his relationship - his goals. Of course there may be overlap which makes it a win win.

That being said, the man could ofc choose to take the same actions but be justifying them out of a covert contract or because he feels judged to be inadequate by his wife and hopes to win her approval. The second would count as being in her frame - her judgement.

The "things that she really wants" aren't even in her own frame.

Do what YOU want and dngaf. That's what she wants but doesn't know it. Then maybe she'll stop harping about the dishes.

“Half the time when she's ticked about something minor it's just a symptom of a lack of sexual interest in you. ”

Yep. If she can talk to you like a little beta bitch, she cant be attracted to you.

I don't think that one can figure this stuff out as easily as you let on. There is too much blue pill programming.

[–]ReddJiveRed Beret2 points3 points  (3 children) | Copy

is it really that big a deal for something that takes no time and almost no effort?

Not like anyone is out at the river scrubbing on rocks any more.

HINT: women will always declare housework is so hard.

Yet the general attitude you want is that yes is for women. Practice by telling her to take off her pants.

[–]matrixtospartanatLVRed Beret3 points4 points  (2 children) | Copy

I read somewhere that all these modern conveniences women enjoy were invented by men, so their women would have time to do, you know, ‘other’ things.

What a lark

I've always noted a difference between doing and helping.

Helping is coming home to find few dishes in the sink. House is immaculate. Kids are doing thier thing, homework done, 3 course meal is being prepped while laundry is nearly folded and put away. You roll in and finish up the dishes.

Doing is coming home to her crashed on the couch, kids playing videos games, clothes, books, shoes all over the house. Every dish in the house piled up and groceries still need to be bought. She had a hard day and figured it was your turn to do the dishes.

Would Brad Pit get bitched at for loading the dish washer incorrectly?

Fuck no. Only betas do.

Betas have rules, alphas don’t.

She’s not attracted to you faggot.

I'm no pro here, but I suspect that it's something about owning your shit. You know, you can always look into the sidebar.

[–]gordelius1 point2 points  (1 child) | Copy

Where is the side bar if I’m using my phone to read up?

Open the sub, click on the three dots on the top right corner, then "community info". Welcome sidebar.
