Hey guys, new to MRP and I've got a TON to learn. I'll spare you all the details: I'm your typical blue pill nice guy, been that way for as long as I can remember. What drove me to MRP was a declining desire/sex frequency from my wife of 20 years. Went to r/sexover30 that led me to r/deadbedrooms which it turn led me to MRP. So far I've read NMMNG, MMSLP & WISNIFG and working on incorporating these strategies into my life.

Last year was a roller coaster with the missus in terms of me asking for sex, helping around more, trying to be better, blah blah. Total blue pill douche bag. She's become very conscious about the topic but I digress.

I'm having trouble identifying true shit tests vs. comfort test, or anything else. Question #1: How do you generally identify them? and what about context, does that come into the equation at all? Yesterday was a good example: she's on day 1 of shark week, and generally needs more beta treatment during that time. Having a house of teenage boys that don't give a fuck doesn't help. Out of nowhere, she tells me "I feel that you're not happy with me". I give her the blank stare for a few seconds and then say "Ok." and a smile. I then go back to doing what I was doing, totally ignoring her comment. Then later she says "I don't want to feel that I'm not making you happy. Do you think you'll be happier with someone else?" Again I stare, and then say "Maybe. It's a hypothetical question. I'm sure there someone out there I can be happy with if I look".

I feel she said this because she knows what I want: sex. and she's not giving me enough of it.

Question #2: I feel I should have handled the above differently, but I'm an MRP freshman. How should I have responded?
