There are a couple. /r/Marriedredpill is the most active.

[–]chakravanti93 0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

That was painfully good stuff. Next step is getting it into the sidebar. What's holding it back is no sidebar, no rules and no TRP standards. Whoever mods that sub needs to conform and then hit up a TRP mod to get it listed.

For example, you've got reddit linkage when that needs to be autoremoved and prompt the poster to use redditlog or another archival site.

I have a concern that /r/MarriedRedPill will be taken over by women or the red pill message will be diluted if the mod isn't vigilant. /r/TheRedPill has expert mods and is still my main subreddit.

I think that Married Game works best as a component of Basic Game. There are plenty of good resources for married men, my blog included. But a new sub wouldn't suck.

Why isn't the LTR flair sufficient? Isn't marriage just an LTR with a golden parachute for one spouse at the end?

Isn't marriage just an LTR with a golden parachute for one spouse at the end?

To me it isn't that simple. Most who find the red pill while already in a marriage want to convert from a blue pill marriage to a red pill marriage.

If you are in an LTR and learn red pill, if your girlfriend doesn't go along, then next her. With a marriage especially with kids, many want to keep the marriage intact.

There are already enough TRP subreddits. In asktrp most of the advice given is BS.

I came here to say exactly this. We have too many TRP's already. The more scattered the content becomes, the more it becomes diluted and harder to moderate.

Not that it would matter anyway, since people will still just come here and say "I asked this over at trpgame/asktrp but nobody answered my question".

The subs that handle the dilution the best are ones that have designated days for certain topics and this discussion goes into a single mod created thread. rCars and rNFL both do this and have Ask Anything Wednesdays going on right now and other topics on other days.

I like this. Maybe "Marriage Mondays" or something, along with weekly "No Stupid Questions" and "Off Topic" threads

[–]farbenwvnder 1 point2 points3 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

People usually don't want to wait when they have a question. They're just gonna post the threads anyways or just won't notice there are scheduled threads for their questions. It will be up to the mods to delete them

I'll run it past the mod team removing the Off Topic flair all together since that stuff belongs in /r/TRPOffTopic anyway.

[–]Pornography_saves_li 4 points5 points6 points 11 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

Maybe not a sub, but a flair wouldn't hurt.

[–]16 TRP VanguardTRPsubmitter 3 points4 points5 points 11 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

There's a LTR flair.

Marriage and LTR issues can easily be searched for that way. And lots of the marriage posts aren't that much different to warrant a separate sub IMO.

Even if it's something specifically related ONLY to marriage (even meeting inlaws and cohabitation can fall under LTR) like divorce, there's not that many. Maybe 1 every week?

[–]GrandCzarOfRedPill 0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

The LTR flair is fairly new, no? (I might be wrong and may have overlooked it) So it may fill the void or help cancel out the noise a bit removing the need for a "marriedTRP."

Like anything else, time will tell.

[–]16 TRP VanguardTRPsubmitter 0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I've never used it nor am I interested in LTRs...but it's there for those who are.

[–]Pornography_saves_li 0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Oh shit. There is so.

OK. Never mind.

[–]GrandCzarOfRedPill 3 points4 points5 points 11 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

80% of deadbedroom subscribers would be able to get laid if there was a marriedTRP sub.

The only other place I can think of that's aimed at RP marriages (won't mention the name) isn't what it used to or could be due to the women over there.

[–]The Red Pill RoomIanIronwood 1 point2 points3 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

His first book is still good. Athol Kay's Married Man Sex Life Primer. After that . . .

The big question is just what element of TRP you want advise on with your marriage.

[–]Endorsed ContributorMarsupian 0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

A new sub doesnt automatically create new content. At the moment anyone looking to add to the TRP discussion on marriage can already post it here. If that new sub gets created probably half of that content gets posted on the new sub while also getting a bit of new content created to fill the silence. In the end it probably only serves to dilute the content and wont get many readers. I dont see why you cant discuss marriage or ltr game here and I dont see what a new sub would add apart from some filler content in the first few days.

The LTR flair exists for a reason. Please use it.

[–]Modredpillschool 2 points3 points4 points 11 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Use the LTR flair.

[–]MetacognitiveMan 0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago* (2 children) | Copy Link

Edit: To answer my own question, I need to search for: flair:'ltr' change the sort to 'new' or 'hot' and make sure to restrict search to this subreddit.

///

Is there a way to filter by flair using an iPad and iPhone client. Alien Blue doesn't seem to support it or I just haven't found how to filer by flair.

[–]MetacognitiveMan 0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago* (0 children) | Copy Link

Yeah. That link doesn't work in my client. I wish it did. Maybe the Alien Blue update will fix this issue.

[–]PragmaticD 1 point2 points3 points 11 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I'd like to see that. /r/theredpill is going to hit 100k subscribers sooner rather than later. It's getting noisy in there.

[–]tyranus89 3 points4 points5 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I think the new LTR flair is sufficient.

[–]amicocinghiale 1 point2 points3 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Holding the frame, competition anxiety and shit tests are valid concepts in marriage too. It's only a kind of LTR.

[–]JohnnyLawman 0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

check out nomarriage.com it used to be a good site with all free info, good forums, writeups and such. Now its more like an info-mercial, but has some decent good free stuff
