Short answer: Yes.

Lots of married people cheat. About 40% of wives cheat and 50% of husbands, though more recent trends indicate that wives have caught up to, or even passed up husbands.

Most cheating husbands end up fucking a random bar slut (or a string of them if attractive), while most cheating wives end up fucking a top 20% married guy and maintaining a relationship with him -- 2 years is the average length.

As a married guy, I prefer mutually assure destruction. A shit ton of loss for both parties if word gets out. Sort of like uber nuke totality if somebody squeals. I keep my life, she keeps hers.

This has been well established already. Women would rather share a high value alpha than own a shit value beta. It's no secret, marriage has nothing to do with it.

Interesting theory. I pretty much insist on having tons and tons of sex, but since I am married, I only have tons and tons of sex with my wife. If my wife did not have tons and tons of sex with me, I would either leave her or have side action. Lucky for me, my wife also wants to have tons and tons of sex with me. So I am not looking for any side action. Plus I got kids and build a great team, why would I want to fuck this up.

In my travels, it dose seem like I am in a 10 or 20% of guys who have active married sex lives. Even guys who I would consider alpha's are all to eager to go full beta once the wedding ring is slipped on their finger. Asking wives permission to do this and that, how is this guy getting laid?

If I will, I would add to your theory, and this is all speculation. In the married community, there are probably 10% who have tons of sex, this is where both partners originated from you 20% secret sex club pool. These are what you call happily married people.

There are maybe 30% where one person is from the 20% and one from the 80%. These ones can go either way. Either the 80% wakes up and changes to a 20%, or the 20%'er just screws other people or abandons the 80%'er because he/she is cannot be satisfied.

Then the rest where both partners are from the 80%, are duds with deadbedroom.

The answer is yes but you may have misconstrued the rule. It is 100% of the female population having sex with the top 20% of guys (until they decide to settle down or get married).

The question is whether women still cheat with the top 20% of guys even when they are married. Obviously that is the case.

It's not limited to cheating. My ex and I had sex with a lot of single girls (unicorns). Very few people knew that we'd be getting girls phone numbers while out w/ friends and even fewer knew some of the girls we were giving rides to were actually getting ridden later that night.

That's just hypergamy.

If you want to call it a secret sex club...ok...but...

Secret: Because they don't talk about it.
Sex: Because they fuck.
Club: Because you and they are part of it.

There is no overarching organizational structure other than hypergamy calling the shots.
