The good: I created a cleaning schedule too! I was afraid I'd feel trapped by it, but so far I love it. The house is clean and I don't get flustered wondering which chore to tackle first.

I had a hectic week with extended family in town and more work to do than usual, but for the most part I kept my cool. A few times I could feel myself revving up to get bitchy but I restrained myself.

The bad / ugly: I had a stupid misunderstanding with my husband and instead of addressing it I just went to sleep. The next morning I was kind of surly, stamping around the house. Thankfully, he cornered me and asked what was going on, and we worked it out : )

Good: Last week I was really good about keeping up with "I will clean a little every day". I don't clean (I tidy but not clean). I also went along with whatever my SO said we should do. Sometimes it went well and sometimes it did not. What he appreciated was my answer when asked about going to the beach was "as long as I"m with you I'm cool". I hate the beach and he knows it but the kids wanted to go. So I made the best of it.

Bad: None

Ugly: None

Brag of the week: I make my SO lunch every morning. It doesn't even register to me that this is a huge deal.. i mean its a sandwich and a soda. However, last night we got home kinda late and I still had to cook for my own lunches for the week. Something simple. Just cooking some sausages to pack up. I put them on the stove and not even two minutes in my SO tells me "Why don't you go shower and relax and I'll make you YOUR lunches for the week?". I think I just about melted in the kitchen!! My SO is so sweet :) :) :) :)

The good: after thinking about it and not doing it I printed a really simple cleaning schedule to encourage me to clean something daily and posted it on my fridge. R likes it :) ALSO - I had a great observation/personal victory in my growth this weekend and posted a field report about it.

The bad: I'm trying to make a conscious effort to get up WITH my alarm and get on a proper schedule of taking my temperature (BBT) for ovulation tracking - I'm still failing pretty hard. So I need to really work on this. Perhaps I need to prep more in the evening so I know when I wake up I already have things done.

The ugly: None.

The good: I spontaneously decided to visit my husband on the weekend (he's on a business trip currently, but not too far away) and prepared food for the whole weekend. We were both very happy to spend time with each other and my husband was very happy about some home made food after going out to eat the weeks before :)

The ugly: The week before I gave him a hard time on the phone because of one of his female co-worker who's also on this business trip (there are also a few male co-workers, so not only the two of them). He told me about his day on the phone and told me how he thinks that she does a fantastic job and that he's glad to work with her. In that moment I felt so inferior that I became really insecure and told him in a very cynical voice how I'm very glad that he has found female company on this trip. He first laughed at me and then reassured me that even if he were single, she would not be his type at all. The topic was quickly off the table but I felt bad and thought afterwards that I should have bitten my tongue. STFU is a concept I still need to work on.

Brag of the week: Before I left on Sunday evening, he told me how he is very happy to have me as his wife and I'm so supportive of his goals and have his back all the time, no matter what it takes for him to pursue his goals. I was very proud of this compliment, because it came from such an awesome man.

good: i've gone 17 days without coffee and alcohol and feel way more energetic. migraines seem to be decreasing too. deleted snapchat. it's always been my least favorite form of social media but i don't mind viewing funny/girly stories occasionally. oh well, i probably won't miss it.

bad: decided to rent out my spare bedroom on airbnb...still haven't made any progress with that. used way too much mobile data for no good reason. i seriously need to switch phone plans. hair looks a little sloppy but i don't have a hairdresser that i trust lol.

ugly: my skin looks surprisingly awful right now. i really thought it would clear up after cutting out coffee and alcohol... :( pcos sucks. family drama that doesn't involve me aside from the fact that my mom vents to me about it

Good I joined the local ladies-only gym and am thrilled to be able to start recomp. I will still have a heavy focus on cardio until I've more or less reached my goal weight, but after that IT'S ON. SO seems proud of my decision.

I was also really sociable the past week. I've noticed that, as I grow older, I become less of an introvert! Social outings are less tiresome, I think it's a fantastic occasion to dress up nice and be pleasant around people (especially SO's family) etcetera.

Bad The occasional bouts of anxiety and hamstering still occur, but I try not to let them influence my behaviour too much. Taking a step back and looking at the relationship and the (f)actual way I'm being treated helps.

Ugly I think it would be better for me to cut the time I spend on the internet and focus on work, housekeeping, hobbies and self-improvement.

Brag SO keeps bringing up marriage, eeeee

The good: It's been about three weeks since I started doing a bedtime tidy-up routine - wipe down the counters, start the dishwasher, put any wayward shoes on the rack, that sort of thing. I spend about 15 minutes every evening keeping up with the miscellaneous stuff that would otherwise pile up and consume our house. It's so nice to go to bed with a tidy home!

The bad/ugly:Wedding planning stress has my hamster running full speed. My fiance's entire office (fewer than 10 people) has been invited. There is one person I would have liked to veto, but he'd already invited them all, as he felt it would be rude to invite all but one in such a small group. It is a mostly-male company, and the only female employee is a 24-year-old "one of the guys" type of girl who has always rubbed me the wrong way. She always seems to have Some Big Major Drama going on that the entire office needs to hear about and support her through. I genuinely believe this woman has mental health issues; she is, at minimum, a Grade A Attention Whore.

We've met at least four times at company events, but apparently the first three, she was too drunk to remember - and she happily told me so during meeting #4. Then she made a joke about how one of the guys was "feeling up" my fiance and how she "wanted to be next". Even our male friends gave her "WTF?" type reactions. Next she yelled out to the entire group "It's time to hear my life story!" and started talking, then started bitching and pouting when people kept going in their various conversations. So she tried another tactic, bragging to me about her arrest record for violation of a protective order against her former romantic partner. Next it was extended wailing about her age, because we were at a birthday party and this reminded her that she had just turned 24. "I'm getting so OLD, I'm almost THIRTY, I'm almost DEAD, how old are YOU, Hazel?" It took a lot of energy to simply reply "Thirty-two, and very much alive."

I will admit, it's not very gracious or ladylike, and I suspect I sound petty, but I cannot stand this woman. But I trust my fiance and have little choice but to accept his decision to invite the entire group. I hope she does not attend. Her behavior and knowing that she's with him all day, every day, acting like a fool, has brought up a lot of old insecurities; I had a long-term relationship with a man who lied to me the entire time about his female coworker "Brenda" and would say "oh, Brian texted me" when I could clearly see that it was Brenda blowing up his phone at all hours. Weeks after I ended the relationship, he and Brenda were on vacation together, and last I knew, they were still together 6+ years later. So, I'm a little sensitive to the idea of a woman at work trying to move in on my man, and the inside of my head gets pretty ugly about it.

Brag: Not letting my inward crazy hamster run wild outside of my head about the above ugliness? I accepted the decision he made to invite them all and haven't brought it up since. It doesn't seem very RP of me to try and mark my territory all over him due to irrational jealousy, and at the core, that's what this is.

Nothing really bad to say for the past week as I was on vacation with the SO :) We had lots of relaxing time, moonlit beach walks (we even climbed up to sit on a lifeguard tower thing to watch the full moon), exploring and lighthouse climbing, boating, fishing, great views, fresh air, great sex, lots of "i love you"s, it was awesome! Especially seeing him so relaxed. His demeanor driving up compared to driving back was so different. And I loved getting to see him and sleep next to him every day. It's gotten me really excited to be moving in with him come October :)

Mostly I've been moody the last few days (from a recent breakup, general PMS, my upcoming 28th birthday and other things). I'm trying to not let all of these things get to me but it's been somewhat of a challenge.

Overall, I'm excited about moving next week and I plan on building a social life once I do. It would be nice to have a little circle of women to spend time with here and there.

Good: Moving next week yay! My roommate is a bit older and INTJ. I think we will get along just swell. I've been consistent in my workouts and I've moved from cardio to weight training, which is more fun honestly. I am going from 3x a week to 5x a week since I've been so painfully anxious this week.
Bad: PMS, blargh. I want this to go away but honestly, at near 28, I think that's just my hormonal makeup. Even with exercise, some days are horrible.
Ugly: I had a bf last week and this week I don't, but oh well. I'm better for it. I will be taking a break from dating for a bit while I settle into my new place. I did some thinking and I have a pretty good idea of what I really want and I don't want to settle for the next guy who just shows interest and we seem similar. That said, I am oddly melancholy about turning 28 and being single. I don't want it to be a big deal. I am happy though, that this only makes me want to work harder on my goals, and not drop the ball.
