When I was introduced to the Red Pill and began the process of unplugging - I read the sidebar , Rationale Male, top posts and recommended reading as if I would be tested on it.

And I was tested on it, I then went and tried to apply it to my life, the process was not linear. There were and still are many ups and downs but I am thankful I took the time to read, internalize and apply what I was reading.

You came to Ask TRP to ask about a theory that you had tested and wanted to engage in a respectful and insightful discussion from other people who have also read and applied the sidebar.

Today, this sub has become a cesspool of lazy, unmotivated whiners.

Literally EVERY QUESTION being asked can be answered by reading and applying the sidebar.

It’s ridiculous but it’s sad to see what has happened. This sub helped me a lot but unfortunately it has become something else.

Thoughts ?

I wouldn't go that far, but I can appreciate the sentiment. Yet we choose to keep this place open for business anyway.

I second this. I think it should be done in the lead up to school holidays (where the floodgates for retardation open) for maximum effect, before spring break and before Christmas break

Shutting down posting? Not sure that would work.

The mods (as if they are not busy enough) any time a question that can be answered by the sidebar, could shut off comments and link to the sidebar.

Just leave. Let the kids on here fling shit at each other. I've genuinely offered advice here for a while and now more and more of the same blue questions/rationales and then upset when you explain it to them. Pretty much a giant waste of time.

My personally thoughts is the sub is for new people discovering red pill and there will always be stupid questions and someone will answer and help these betas fix their life and while I agree with you 100% if you don’t like it you should leave because as a red pill man I feel like we are just rehashing the same info over and over at this point and it’s okay because people are finding this information everyday

So often we respond to questions by merely pointing OP to the sidebar. Well, there are volumes of articles on the sidebar. Where is he supposed to start? Yes, he should've been reading the sidebar all along, but that didn't happen and now he's in a difficult spot IRL.

Instead of lazily pointing OP to the sidebar, how about we recommend specific resources in the sidebar that are going to be most pertinent to OP's question. Maybe when OP sees how valuable one resource can be to his current situation he will strive to read a little bit more on a regular basis.

I think that's the best solution. Pointing someone to the sidebar seems a bit like pointing them to the Bible. Plus there are links to other websites in the sidebar, multiple subs that are more specific, and pinned posts in every sub. There's a lot of information to read and it's not always completely clear where one should start, especially if the problem they're having is specific.

Am I the only ones who enjoys answering questions ? Although the sidebar should be read idk what the issue is with people not reading it. If someone ask a dumb sidebar question just keep scrolling.

I agree somewhat, but I think it's useful to get specific advice for contexts that aren't addressed in the sidebar. It's always contextual though, and some posts can be spergy (my own included), but this sub is for improvement so I think it's okay. Maybe mods just need to be more on the ball removing posts and comments that are completely irrelevant.

Just remember, one of the best ways to learn is to teach. Asnwering these dumb basic questions everyday can lead to better understanding of things for the teacher.

It stems from a straight up lack of respect. When I breeze through main sub and see the super top quality posts you really can’t help but feel the realness coming out of your screen. The deep real truths and applicable advice that the serious contributions give us.

As young men we really need to be able to see this type of stuff and acknowledge it in silence, especially if it means holding in simple minded and low level thinking. When you read the good stuff, you fuckin respect the shit out of it. Enough to be humbled hopefully....
