Genuinely curious on what a woman's role is in a red pill relationship

I'll ignore the snark and take a bite. Though your disdain is easy to spot and you definitely need to do some more thinking, reading, looking.

It's more of an attitude. Will I respect my man? Do I actually want him to be happy? Can I humble myself? Then I need to realize what makes him happy and know some things to enrich him. A mans needs are pretty easy, generally.

Men need sex. Men need respect. Men need food. Men need intense physical activity. (Lifting, playing sports w/other men.)

Independent of what he can do for me or give me, I give these things. He's faithful. I'm not controlling or suffocating him.

Since I know he is trustworthy, I let him take the reigns. I give my input and he makes the final call. For better or worse. But as it turns out, when you don't harangue a man and rob him of what he needs (see list above), manipulate him, or mother him, he's pretty confident, clear-thinking and a responsible decision maker.

I am perfectly capable of making all of my own decisions.

I know he is a good and responsible and capable man. He is very attractive, desirable, generally calm. A man of few words. Is he perfect? No. But I want to build him up. His is a winning team that I want to be on. My part on this team is to help it win. He's the captain and calls the plays. If he asks my opinion or input I give it. It's up to him to make adjustments to the plays or strategy based on that, but at the end of the day, the team will win.

Not all men are equal. I got a high quality man when I was young, have much to offer, and I never stop learning or improving. He knows all of this is going to directly benefit him because he is high worth and he never stops improving either. We both want the same things, and when there's a conflict, that isn't in the best interest of the team. I see it like this: is this problem worth a divorce and a clean wash? No? Then I'll squash it. He's worth it.

See the pattern? The man sets the tone by being worth it.

I think the sidebar under Introductions the link "Explaining the RPW sub" covers this pretty well.

I'm super new here, so I can't give you a great answer to this question. It's something I'm still a bit unsure myself. This sub is very self- improvement based and that's something that drew me to it.

I think when over at TRP they discuss how women shouldn't expect men to pay for the dinner bill, they're mostly referring to female entitlement. I'm don't venture over there so I won't pretend to know for sure, but that's my guess.

This is a sub for women who want a long- term relationship and marriage and want our relationships and marriages to be happy and successful. We also accept and believe the Red Pill theory on gender differences and our basic nature, and by knowing our nature gaining further control over our behavior in our relationships in such a way that improves them. A lot of it involves finding a "great guy" that to m means a trustworthy guy to take the lead. Once we have a man who is trustworthy, it's about "surrendering" to him, but that doesn't mean giving up your entire life or everything that makes you you and being a servant. It means, you picked him because you felt he would make a good leader and life- partner so get out of his way and allow him to lead. You trust him to make the decisions with both of your best interests in mind and not be selfish or abuse the power you've given him.

Now the self- improvement part comes in, obviously you're not going to find a great guy if you're a fat slob who whines on Facebook all day long. You need to bring something to the table. So we emphasize things that improve our SMV (being healthy, fit, dressing nicely and presenting ourselves well, not being a bitch) and skills that reflect traditional values (cooking and cleaning) but all the while developing a "feminine" frame of mind, being the softness to his hardness. It basically comes down to being a good person, taking pride in yourself and what you do, with some housewife skills tossed in for good measure.

I'm sure I probably got a few things wrong, and I'm looking forward to the more veteran RPW responding. But you can also read the side- bar, there's some very informative stuff over there.

It's obvious from your post that you've read some prejudicial things against the red pill. But that's not what "getting back to our roots" means. The red pill isn't really about the men working and the women staying home. The red pill is a set of axioms that describe the nature of sexual attraction between males and females, the ways in which men and women are different, and the short-term and long-term mating strategies of both sexes. The "getting back to our roots" would be teaching men to be masculine and stimulating feelings of femininity in their women, and for women to be feminine and stimulating feelings of masculinity in their men. For the average heterosexual relationship, the red pill teaches this is a path forward towards a fulfilling love life whether we're talking about a boyfriend and girlfriend or a long-term relationship, i.e. marriage. That's it. The rest is still up to you and your boyfriend or husband to make things work.

When you compare and contrast the discussions on TRP with those on RPW, you have to start by looking at the number of subscribers. Just as most men are blue pill (but more waking up all the time), RPWs are like freaking gold dust. Most guys will never meet one, and in fact most Western women have been poisoned by feminism. The general attitude there is having abundance mentality, DGAF, spinning plates, and not seeking the kinds of commitment ladies here are seeking, because most women those guys meet don't deserve commitment. Divorce rate is around 50% for 1st marriage (even worse for 2nd and third), those are terrible odds when you consider what is done to men in divorce courts. The only rational response to those circumstances is to dial way back on the amount you invest in women.

From the angle this sub is coming from, it is completely different. Even if 50% of marriages end in divorce (overwhelmingly brought about by the women) still 50% of them don't. Who is going to have a successful relationship with a man, someone who thinks that men are historical class oppressors and never learn not to nag and backbite, or those who work on themselves to make themselves more feminine and supportive of their man?

Basically our subreddit is about maintaining long term relationships with our men. I'll try to summarize the main points as quickly as I can. We recognize men and women are different and have different needs in a relationship. We put our men as a very high priority in our lives and we wish to make their lives easier, which will end up improving the relationship. We put effort into our relationships and try to make them work well. One thing that I noticed is how you said that the woman gives sex to the man, that's a bad attitude, it's a mutual activity which benefits the relationship.

Men lead, women support. Doesn't matter whether supporting means having the main job as he retrains, getting a secondary job or staying home; cooking and cleaning, gardening or fixing the car; raising children or gaming all night with him, the important thing is to be actively supporting him.

There is no right answer as to which role a woman fills aside from the one that the man in the relationship should be the one to determine how to allocate resources. Sometimes he will decide that it's better for the woman to work, sometimes to stay at home, sometimes to be the main breadwinner, sometimes some combination.

It doesn't matter what she does except for that it is the man that has the final say in what she does. (And if there is disagreement/conflict of interests then they should probably not continue to be together).

The woman follows her man's lead. She trusts his decisions on these such matters. Every couple's needs are different.

Well, me and my husband have a very RP marriage. He works full time as the CTO of the company he works at. I work a couple days a week to contribute a little. But I do all, and I mean all the housework and cooking. I do try to make sure he's as stress free as possible and I never turn him down for sex. My role is to please my man, any way that he requires. And we've been together nearly five years, so I know how to please him.

Man here, TRP (original) is peppered with different extreme conglomerates that make up the entire subreddit. There are those that adhere to TRP roots of being the provider, then there are those that promote borderline misogynist views that create misandry. I've personally gathered that most users there want to make the reader aware that the majority of women today can and most likely will fuck men over. The original purpose of TRP was to educate men what they hadn't been taught throughout their entire upbringing: be the pillar in the relationship. Today TRP is riddled with users that tell readers to sleep around, care for no one but one's self, and even CHEAT on your woman. I've read a lot of stuff that baffles my mind, I dislike feminism as much as the next reader in TRPWomen, but TRP has been becoming a bit hypocritical with their tyrades. I read both here and TRP regularly, mostly lurking/browsing, seldom posting my own threads or comments.

I want and currently have a RP woman in my life who was brought up generally conservative, the only complaints I have is that she's a terrible cook. I was told by my father 'the key to a man's heart is through his stomach.' There is too much truth to this quote, ladies. We're simple: if we're provided sex, food and allowed to sleep without interruption, we'll carry the world on our backs for our women. There is a flip side that TRP teaches that I agree with though, if the women is unfaithful then they don't deserve anything that the man has worked for. If there are two sides to a story, where the man was also unfaithful, then I have nothing to say on the matter. Victims should be treated as such, not reaped of what they've sowed.

Smoke could be billowing out of my ass right now though too, who knows.
