Some highlights:

wife recently told me that I have been in an “open marriage” for three years . . . Open marriage, as in, you date who you want and I date who I want, but let’s just keep it on a “Don’t ask, Don’t tell” basis. In reality, a woman will test you all the time, and at any time.

She'll test you when she's happy. She'll test you when she's upset. She'll test you when she's your girlfriend, or your wife, or when she's just met you. She'll test you when you're alone, or with friends and family, or in mixed company. She'll test you when you're healthy or sick, wealthy or poor. She'll even test you in her dreams, and punish the real you for any missteps your figment made in her seemingly twisted mind.

The reason women do this is that they are driven to, much in the same way that you are aware when a woman's beauty begins to wane, taking it as a sign that she's getting too comfortable in the relationship and doesn't respect you any longer.

A woman needs to know that she's not wasting her eggs on you.

That's why the proper course of action is always strict discipline and well-defined boundaries. No matter what the woman's relation to you, your life will be better in the long run if you make a habit of disciplining your women.

A woman will do whatever you let her get away with. Don't give her an inch, unless you intend to have no further association with her.

We live too long to expect life long monogamy. We used to die at 35, maybe 40. Just enough time to have kids and raise them. Just one of the reasons marriage is a bad deal and a terrible idea for men.

Why would you want to keep that in your house?

Especially if you have children she will focus all her angst toward them, and because there won't be any obvious reason for the abuse those children will grow up accepting irrationality as normal.

You(or the state) can't force people to be what you what them to be, when nature calls, the social pretend game is pointless.

I don't blame them. Everyone wants freedom from marriage. Most of the time marriage results in happiness for both husband and wife.
