I'd like to share some perspective about TRP and Julien Blanc and his comments about Tokyo.

Preface: this is about Julien's behaviour specifically related to Japanese girls, not related to PUA activities in general.

I watched the video about Julien's behaviour in Tokyo, and I found it quite shocking. It's the stereotypical 'Western Buffoonery' behaviour that makes white people less welcome in foreign countries. He's clearly disrespecting cultural differences and isn't treating the people he's interacting with as though they are actually people. Shouting random Japanese words and forcing himself on shocked women is poor form by my measure.

Tokyo: It is different there. Nearly everyone is much more ... passive. People become friends by being introduced to each other from a mutual friend, and talking to strangers in the street isn't something that happens (most of the time). New social connections are formed through social activities, coworkers, and mutual friends. Perhaps its a survival mechanism that allows people to cope with being in such a big city. Perhaps with roots in a strict class structure, Japan has a different, more passive, set of manners. There is more intention to create a natural harmony between people, and a definite intention to not disturb the harmony. If you're interested, the harmony is called 'Wa'. Of course, this is frustrating for both men and women when it comes time to seek out relationships, sexual and otherwise, because there aren't many existing routes to meet people in non-regulated social settings.

A guy grabbing a girl's head and forcing himself on her won't create the same reaction as it does in North America. The girl likely won't fight back, but it doesn't mean that she's interested, it means that her reaction system has never had to deal with this type of behaviour before, and doesn't quite know what to do to get out of the situation she's been put in. It does not mean she consents to those actions.

At the end of the day, we are all trying to be decent and moral men. We're trying to respect ourselves and respect our fellow human beings. We're not interested (I hope) in forcing someone to do something against their wishes. Those people are assaulters and rapists, and I'm sure we don't want to be classified with them. We are interested in consenting individuals doing things because they want to, not because they are forced to. We are not interested in being trapped into doing something we don't want to do, and we shouldn't do that to others. PUA is about presenting yourself in such a way that consent is more easily given, it is not about forcing someone to do something without their consent, and this is why I feel like Julien's commentary and behaviour regarding Japan is in very poor taste.

What Mr Blanc seems to miss in his behaviour in Tokyo is that lack of rejection doesn't imply consent. Just because a woman doesn't physically push him away doesn't mean that it's ok to do as he wishes with her, in Tokyo, everywhere. Let's be better than this. Let's be Red Pill Gentlemen.
