In my experience, women tend to show interest after I have shown interest in them. Why is that?

I don't think most women are constantly subconsciously scanning the environment for opportunities to bone in the same way a lot of men are. Even when single, and especially if not in an "appropriate" space like a party or a bar or whatever.

Y'know how sometimes you'll get really absorbed in a task, and you won't notice you're hungry until someone goes, "hey, wanna go out for dinner?" and then you realize you're starving? It's kinda like that.

I think sometimes women are attracted but start with some negative assumption that you're probably a douchebag or w/e. So until you establish some rapport with them and come off as a decent dude, you don't see their interest.

There's no sense of waiting time on someone who doesn't show any interest in you. I think this goes to when you're someone out of their league. I know from personal experience if I thought someone was super attractive like a ten or whatever that I wouldn't show interest in them unless they initiated a conversation or something of the sort.

You’re conflating and confusing two different things.

What you’re referring to is women in a club/bar setting that don’t want to be approached unless they show interest to a guy first and nonverbally signal him to try and get him to come over and talk to her.

On the other hand, when you’re already talking and you have some kind of rapport, that’s when women start testing. That’s the power struggle and negotiation phase of the relationship. So, women want to see that the man is so moved and enamored by just how amazing her personality and accomplishments are that he has decided to commit himself to her! That’s why they wait for the man to show interest first, because it makes them feel more secure in the relationship.

Depends on how much value SMV they assign to an specific men, it's not about if you like them or not bc you do like them, their question is how much?

If a woman believes you are high value SMV she'll can have initiative and even pursue you but if she believes you are an average guy like she can't get that anywhere anything she wants you don't worth an effort but if you engage her and "make her laugh" aka you play your act as a good clown then she'll show you some reciprocation BUT less than what you have provided, like if you give her 50% interest she'll give you 35% so you keep investing resources on her (even time) it's how they react. When the guys is high SMV they can even make sacrifices to get him

They won't initiate but they will lazily reply your interest, my guess you are an avg guy, that's not bad it's just we are not trendy in the SMP. I don't know you, but I got bored of always having the initiative like they won't do much or anything if you don't move first thus they would say "but I like you".

There are 2 variations A. she is not really into it: you don't fancy her or give her the "tingles" she will be lazy and interest would evaporate so you must hurry up to have some sex B. She want to get to know you, you might end up entering a relationship or some potato status to grow to something more can or can't work depends on both but her interest will increase gradually depending on how compatible you both are.
