Because betas are the guys that get nowhere in life.

They're the guys that are too afraid rio start their own business, so they spend their lives working for someone else.

They're the guys that wait on women to want them instead of going for the ones they want.

They're the guys that end up with women that aren't really attracted to them and feel like they settled, then end up fucking the alpha she met at the grocery store.

They're the guys that barely get any respect because they'd rather stay in their comfort zone than do some risky shit.

If you're just "along for the ride", you're going wherever the driver wants you to go. You're not taking control of your life.

If people didn't take risks, we would still be living in caves and you would be waiting until the biggest motherfucker in the tribe is done eating so that you can get the scraps. You would be waiting on the most alpha motherfucker around to get done fucking his bitches so you can try and get some.

You get nowhere if you're afraid to be in charge.

Some people are happy betas. My brother met a post-wall overweight chick and they got married. She treats him well and he seems pretty happy.

Nobody's alpha in all respects.

When dealing with a woman, lose a few beta cues. Act alpha with the girls. (Of all people you'll ever have to convince, they will be the easiest. This is not a hard thing to do.) If you feel the need to embellish a bit, remember that consent gained by a lie is still consent. This is so you don't have to worry and lose frame in the moment.

Fake it til you make it. The reason is that it's the way to the success you want. But don't get off the gravy train of some other "alpha" just because it feels beta to be along for the ride. Don't let this girl chasing thing infect other good decisions you make. It's not that big a deal, you don't need to do anything like that.

There's nothing inherently "wrong" with it.

Being a beta will probably exclude you from:

The hottest and best and/or a loyal woman.

Being a multimillionaire

The freedom to do anything you want to at anytime.

A lot of people are okay with living a good life. And that's fine. In my opinion TRP isn't quite for them.

There are a few who insist that a life that isn't the best it very well can be isn't worth living. These men become "alpha". Sometimes they need guidance, and this is where the trp teachings come in.

So in summary its not "wrong". You may still be happy as a beta even. You just lose the chance to get to the very very top.

I think that you have a fair point. Not everyone can be an alpha, and betas are a required part of our society. Beta isn't a totally terrible thing to do and if that's how you are naturally then you should, by all means, work to become the best beta you can be.

What I wouldn't aspire to be is a total pussy. You need to be able to take charge on the occasions when there aren't alphas to follow.

I would say that out of my circle of male friends, there are about eight or nine of us depending on the day, only two of us are truly assertive alphas. It's a natural order and it works well for the chemistry of the group.

As for the attitude of "if things go bad it's not my fault"... This is a bad way to reason a situation. If you go along with a plan and it goes south you're still at fault for being a moron and tagging along. In an instance where a situation isn't a good idea you should assert yourself or step away from the situation.

I don't really like the beta or alpha description but I take as being the man the man you want to be. If this guy is okay with being the guy who is generally stepped over, then it makes it easy for the rest of us that want to change anyways.
