Discovered it in 2015 was still 25 and bluepilled two years later found out girlfriend cheated got mad threw her out. My parents always taught me cheating is unforgiveable, rage and distrust still reigned and MGTOW stuff made sense and brought me peace.

Found out I'd practically lived this way already for the better part of a decade. Life redpilled me - but MGTOW content brought those ideas I already had, into razorsharp focus.

Went back to TRP but still thought it's a bunch of bullshit. Then I read about MGTOW there and only then did the whole redpill thing click with me. Actually I was researching "female led relationships" (don't ask why) when I found an article that mentioned MGTOW. Chose the red pill.

If you're curious and want to see where women think relationships are heading as the new norm - look up "female led relationships". They want to train men and control men like dogs. It is some sobering shit that will make it clear that the MGTOW red pill is the only option.

It’s actually kind of strange because I don’t remember how I got to MGTOW exactly. I was basically somewhat anti-feminist since GamerGate (I was around 14-15). Then I was on the fence about feminism because I was still blue-pilled. I tried my best to be a “male feminist” and I was regularly reading Jezebel articles that were focused on “sexism” and rape during 2015-2016 (UVA false rape, Brock turner, mattress girl, etc.). As much as I wanted to be an ally, I realized that feminists didn’t have men’s interest at heart and were dismissive of our opinions. I was specifically coming from the perspective of false rape claims, because the way feminists phrase their views, all men should be punished criminally, if not socially by being cancelled, even when there is no evidence.

The Jezebel comment section and social media SJWs basically redpilled me (seriously, try to find articles about the UVA rape or Amber Heard, those bitches expose themselves). Around this time I started using reddit, and I eventually came across MGTOW and TRP stuff which basically aligned with my own views.

Looking back, I understand why Reddit quarantined MGTOW. There are a lot of blue/purple-pill guys who basically know women’s nature and the fallacy of feminism, but they don’t have that larger community where they can compare notes and realize that they don’t hold fringe views. If MGTOW was still open to the general public, it would be a lot larger!

A long time ago in a dark age known as the 00,s I was browsing a new thing called Youtube. Before this, I've noticed that 80% of a mans problem was from a female. I've seen men get cucked, divorced, and yet the majority still went back in.

I always wondered if I was right in the head. Since I thought "It's not worth it", "what the hell is wrong with everyone", and "This is a Farce".

1] I had great to pretty good relationships.(more below)

2] I was 19 years into a great 20 year university career.

3] I went to see the movie Gone Girl on election night 2014.

4] I watched YouTube movie reviews of Gone Girl, and came across Sandman's review of Gone Girl. He used all this baffling lingo.... what was migtau, what was naywalt? This was what started me down the 'formal' path, just about the same time that Colttaine restarted his efforts. From 2014 to 2017 I consumed material voraciously, and just about the time I figured I had a basic understanding of things, I found out (regarding the female nature end of things) that I had basically recreated the book The Rational Male. If I had only known that I could have just read or listened to the book. Face palm.

5] Barbarossa's awakening to proto-MGTOW ideas was similar to my own. In high school I was a more or less straight A student, an individual, I had charisma and counter culture tendencies. Slowly I started to figure out female nature, before discovering that the founders and early adopters had already been hard at work on these issues for many years.

A] My life from 16-28 was ‘really good’ to ‘great’. I had several 6 serious girlfriends basically the whole time. I had a full-time full-on serious girlfriend in high school. When I was maximum horny I was getting regular sex. Sports took so much time and I already had a job and a car and a girlfriend. Sex and making money were the best use of my time outside of academics. Nobody is more attractive than somebody else’s girlfriend/boyfriend. This was in the fantastic book 'A Billion Wicked Thoughts' but I learned this lesson firsthand. The attention I received while in a relationship was a little insane, and it provided me with lots of evidence that girls were not sugar and spice and everything nice.

B] My life 28-32 was even better. I dated several different girls. Half of them were age 23. I found out later that 23 is the 'most preferred age/peak sexual market value' for a woman…. Yes it is!

C] My life was awesome from 33-38. Everybody from 18-80 seemed to want a piece of me (flirting, dating, etc.). I was out living my life and did not know about MGTOW, so when I later heard that my peak sexual market value was 33-38 I could only nod my head vigorously.

D] MGTOW enabled me to fully understand women at a time when the women I was attracting were most superficial and demanding.

E] It is not just me. A friend of mine is happily married to a fairly pretty wife who works for John Deere in France (the wife has rich parents who have given them money, about 500k total). He has a healthy, attractive, intelligent son, and he does not mind doing the hard work to raise his son properly. Even he said that there was no question about it, he had no regrets BUT if he had it all to do over again, he would have stayed single.

Having discovered MGTOW, I was able to retroactively understand my life path better, and to thank my lucky stars.

1] Ronin Man did an incredible video/podcast about women ‘knowing their worth’ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mxuFf79ui0I . From 33-38 I knew 'my true worth', and it was an awesome feeling. Women are so obnoxious and difficult from 25-50 because they knew 'their true worth' in some period from 16-25 (plus or minus 5 years depending on whether the girl was an early or late bloomer, passable/cute/pretty/beautiful, and how smart she is). Once you know ‘your true worth’ you can never forget it. The truly unfortunate thing is that you don’t get to keep 'your true worth' forever and ever. Bruce Jenner may get to keep his gold medal, and his memories, but that does not mean this transgender senior citizen is ready to jump in the fray and qualify for the upcoming Olympics. His time with the heavy hitters is now a memory. Women are so solipsistic that they fail to realize that at age >30... their time on the front like is likely over, unless they are a genetic anomaly or have big boobs or something.

2] The reasons why my life is great are the following:
I am not short. I don’t have a small penis. I am not ugly. I am smart. But most of all my life has been great because I have charisma/alpha male characteristics/zest for life (St. Augustine called it grace).

3] Less than 7% of people have any meaningful amount of charisma, probably way less. (US Presidents with charisma in the last ~60 years: Kennedy, Reagan, Clinton, Obama, Trump).

4] Rollo Tomassi says that ‘alphas’ (‘charisma’/‘alpha nature’) are not genetic, but this is disingenuous. You can still be in the top 20% and live a great life without having ‘charisma’/‘alpha nature’, but only certain people have charisma, but most everybody wants to be around charisma, hence there is a reason why a cult of personality exists around those particular charismatic presidents. Obama was charismatic, Hillary Clinton was not. She lost. To a black man. With a Muslim name. After 9/11. Trump was charismatic, Hillary Clinton was not. She lost. Charisma matters.

5] Having ‘charisma’/‘alpha nature’ is similar in form to winning the gold medal in Olympic gymnastics. Once you start your routine there is basically only one way to get 9.5 or above, but there are countless ways to fail. But to get in front of the judges as an Olympic gymnast…. you have to have the gymnast body, and you need the determination to do the training and the money for coaching. Most of these characteristics were genetically determined, they are baked into a person, genetically or epigenetically, and they were also baked into their parents. When the sperm hits the egg it is all cookie dough (good or bad) but when the baby/cookie pops out of ‘the oven’, you can’t change the shape or taste anymore. Why do you think they say a pregnant woman has a ‘bun in the oven’. It is being baked, it comes out 'done'/completed. Your height and your level of charisma are likely the same percent genetically determined.

6] The ability to increase your ‘charisma’/‘alpha nature’ is very limited, but it can be easily ruined. In that way it has similarities to beauty. There are a limited number of ways to be considered beautiful (having a beautiful face, being a coquettish pixie, the cute girl next door type, being Instagram booty girl Jen Selter….etc.) but there are dozens of ways to spoil the beauty you have (meth, car accident, getting fat, smoking, getting old) and precious few ways to actually increase beauty (workout, a great diet over a long period of time, plastic surgery) and a few ways to fake an increase in beauty (make-up, a corset and a good wardrobe, a wig of really long hair, put two grapefruits in your bra).

7] If you are not a breeder then there is no reason to get married unless your wife is rich and you don’t want bastard children. Transferring between countries is much easier as a family, of course it is even easier when you are single. I knew at 15 that I did not want children, since the earth is wildly overpopulated, and it would be a waste of my precious time, and most children grow up to be losers anyway… even most children of the smart/famous/good looking (with every advantage) grow up to be losers. That is why they call the statistical technique ‘regression’.

It was naturally gravitating to it, because of the stuff I watch about politics, freedom to choose, economy etc. The red pill showed me that if I want to be successful, I have to work for it. A video came up on my Youtube recommendations feed by a MGTOW Youtube channel on why we shouldn't date online. Then I was hooked on more MGTOW videos attacking feminism. I haven't come across the inner MGTOW yet until I watched more and more anti feminism video until eventually I stumbled on videos explaining gynocentrism. It feels like a cult or something tbh, first there is something quite agreeable, something familiar, many non-MGTOWs also dislike third wave feminists, and then it hits you with something totally rad. But difference is, MGTOW is correct in its stance, divorce rate is a whooping 50%, 70% initiated by women, women get hit by the wall, women become chameleons. single life is more free

A co-worker and good friend got set up by his now ex-wife. His life was ruined and in literally 3 days he went from married, good job, nice house, awesome pickup, to......homeless, destitute, no money, no clothes, no vehicle.

She had everything well planned out with her divorce lawyer.

He ended up living with me for a month while all the legal shit played out.

During that time I was so shocked at the way the courts were treating him that I found MRA. Then I found "The Red Pill". Everything made sense and I went through the typical rage phase. Everything I had been taught was a complete lie.

After rage phase I found acceptance and peace within myself. Then I found MGTOW.

Unfortunately for me I am married and have been for 22 years. She is a submissive tradcon. No kids. Currently and also never in the last 22 years have I had a complaint about my marriage. I get what I want when I want it.

That being said I look at my wife like the cobra that the snake handler makes his living off of. At any given moment she could decide to bite me, regardless of the fact it would ruin her comfortable life. That is what they are.

The scorpion and the frog story is a perfect analogy.

They posted some content about y'all, I liked to hang out on that sub in those days (mostly to diss the mass-shooter-worshippers over on /r/incels). But I could never see anything really objectionable about /r/mgtow--there is, after all, nothing violent or psychotic about swearing off relationships and focusing on what makes you happy. Maybe the "AWALT" meme--I don't like hypocrisy, and that line echoes "Yes All Men" too closely for me to ever unironically say "AWALT." But that's it. Even in my blue-pilled days, I found this sub sympathetic, and was annoyed by the dishonest tendency by some to lump MGTOWs in with incels.

In those days, I was still a dateless virgin (autism + all boy's high school + engineer college + didn't get hit with the puberty stick until my 20s). That changed, as entropy says it must--I had my very first romantic relationship, checked off all the "first" boxes--first date, first kiss, first...and then first cucking. My first relationship played out exactly as horror stories on here do--shit tests, loss of attraction when I let my guard down and got emotional, girl complaining about "asshole" ex-boyfriend and telling me she had a history of sexual abuse, culminating in me finding the dude's pants in my closet shortly after she dumped me by text message.

I analyzed my behavior a dozen times. I won't pretend I was perfect, but I couldn't identify anything I'd done for which "cuck him" is an acceptable response. No, as far as I could tell, I'd done things as the blue-pill manual prescribes...and still failed.

And I analyzed my emotional state. The entire experience traumatized me--nightmares and gastrointestinal pain for a few days, and suicidal ideation--a problem which normally has only ever afflicted me when I did poorly on tests. Not something I want to go through a second time.

So I, having seen that this sub was mostly right all along, became a regular visitor. And I've only gotten more red-pilled since. Thank you, /r/inceltears, for spreading awareness of this safe space where men can express themselves.

Ah yes, well even before I found MGTOW i decided i never wanted to be married in my late teens due to simple observation and having grown up around them ( i don't hate my mother and siblings but i would never want to be married to them). For MGTOW i merely came upon it while browsing reddit, I was on the the Ask Men subreddit (before it became completely cucked) and was on a thread about men who were still single and why. Someone brought up the MGTOW subreddit and from there it was all history. I never wanted to get married but before I found out about this place and all the MGTOW channels I subsequently viewed, I never knew just how god awful the entirety of the system is and this helped to bolster my convictions.

I don't know how anyone can't at least consider the fact that you can live a perfectly fulfilling life alone, because that's the only person you can trust and rely on to take care of you.

It becomes a no brainer when every last person you see in the workplace over 25 tells you not to get hitched, yet keeps on getting married. It's like they repeatedly poison themselves for no reason at all.

Add in the idea that you should actually learn to evaluate people in actual observable behavior, not what you wish they were, by about 20 yo....it should be pretty obvious how low-quality the options are these days.
