I only partially agree with you, OP, so I'll try to C your V.

I don't think women fall ONLY for assholes and bad boys. Women fall for attractive guys, and lots of women will overlook personality and be open to dating any guy she finds attractive - as evidenced by the fact that assholes are not the only ones dating and reproducing.

The real reason I believe women complain about the personalities of the men they date is because they're perpetrating essentially what feminism has long accused men of - they're treating men as objects. When a woman dates a man she's attracted to and complains about his personality, really, what is the message she is sending? She's saying that she wants a different person in the same body. She doesn't care about the guy's personality, or his preferences, or his wants and needs - she feels entitled to his body and feels slighted when that comes with a payoff in the form of a personality she doesn't like.
