Actually nice guy and nerd shaming is what drives them there.

They grow up and hear player shaming, swole shaming and general masculinity shaming. So they decide not to play with women's emotions, not to have one night stands (I actually know a guy who refused to have sex with a pretty hot blonde because he doesn't think that one night stands are right), not to become a stupid gym rat and to be sensitive of women's emotions and needs (read become a doormat). Because this is what all women must want? Why else would they complain about players, say that gym rats are stupid and ugly and complain about how most men are insensitive, way to dominant beings that objectify women by approaching them.

Then they get older and some douchey muscular guy gets action despite throwing women away left and right. Then he mentions or even hints at being sexually frustrated and gets attacked from all sides. In his mind he did everything right, he is a nicer guy than that douchey dude over there, but gets no action and now he gets attacked for finding the situation unfair. This is the nice guy shaming, instead of expressing sympathy for them everyone attacks them. Ok, what do you do when people attack you? Right you say they are assholes and find people that don't attack you.

I think this is the male equivalent of slut shaming, it somehow entangles/restricts males so that they can't openly express their sexuality. The common rebuttal is to say "women have it bad too" but how about actually saying, "Ok, let's do something against this. No more nice guy shaming"

If a woman says "I only date guys over 6 feet", what do you think she is actually saying? This poster answered I think she doesn't know how tall the people she finds attractive are.

I'm 5'8" but I have my height on tinder and online dating set to 5'10" and 5'11".. When it comes to exact measurement, not a lot of women can tell just how tall you really are EXACTLY as long as you're taller than them.

To be fair, women are genuinely shit at judging lengths. This is why they think doors are 10 feet tall and their boyfriends are packing 8 inch cocks.

To me, tall men are not any more attractive than their counterparts. But admittedly I've felt uncomfortable about my short boyfriends height because of jokes made (exclusively by other men) about his height.

For that reason I could prioritize a tall boyfriend while not finding the height attractive in and of itself.

I don't think the commenters advice is detrimental to men since height is not something you can change.

EDIT: And to be fair, I think a lot of people are terrible at judging spatial relations. I didn't realize how tall my ex was until someone commented on it. I had to txt him to confirm his height (we dated for 3 years...). When you look up at most men you stop noticing the differences until someone is like 7' plus (at least I do).

i think its bad advice. I feel like TRP really only needs to cater to beta males or guys in need of confidence/ technique. I think often, guys who have it all down come there just to be told their right all the time. That gives them over self confidence and turns it a little mysogynistic. That's where I think you guys get a bad rep and I feel like if TRP encouraged guys to go to a good subreddit to ask for women's advice too, then you would weed that out a lot.
