I was thinking about this before, whether or not one believes things like hypergamy, AFBB, and other RP concepts are prevalent or existing, it's clear that college greek life and fraternities promote or exacerbate these concepts. Meaning, they set up scenarios that encourage the occurrence of them. Here are some prime examples:

  1. Enforced 2:1 female to male ratios at parties. Think about it, if you essentially setting up a party where there is going to be way less guys than girls, what happens is the 80/20 rule plays out much more. The women are competing for a much smaller number of men, and the men able to be invited to the party have much more to choose from.

  2. Girls can get into any frat party, yet guys have to belong or bring more girls with them, or know a frat member. What does this do? It sends the message that women have inherently higher value than men, so much so they can get into any frat they want, without having to devote time to it and join it like the guys do. This promotes female promiscuity, and the CC, because it's giving women full access to any party they want.

These two are the most prominent that promote female hypergamy, and exacerbate what RPers proclaim as problems. There are others, like monopolizing on parties, but I mainly want to discuss these two.
