Who fucking cares? I mean, couldn't this same exact nonsense be said of a skinnier, weaker male, or one with disabilities/health issues that make him more "biologically inconvenient?" They depend on men too. Why does it really matter if they wouldn't fare as well in the wild?

Besides, people were not made to be lone wanderers through nature. We are a highly social species, and we depend on each other's cooperation for survival, reproduction, happiness and all that jazz. So in this sense, no one is really independent.

This is true, but generally human beings are weaklings and cannot survive in the wild. We need technology to survive, otherwise animals will simply kill us very easily.

If you see something like The Last of Us, The Living Dead, Threads, etc, you will see that once society collapses survival becomes extremely difficult. And they present optimistic scenarios. I wouldn't last long without being able to buy food and water.

Humans rarely survive without other humans. Women in hunter gather societies typically provide around 80% of the calories. Men provide big game. Would animals attack without males? It's hard to say, most animals are afraid of fire and a woman can wave a torch too.

So, you are really misunderstanding survival of the fittest. All animals on earth have learned to survive in their own little way. Humans for instance weren't as strong and massive as other animals, but we had the intelligence to build tools to help us survive. Human beings are where they are now because of technology, no matter how primitive it was.

Honestly, a woman using tools and her brain is more likely to survive then someone who is physically stronger and doesn't want to depend on technology or others.

What are you trying to prove? We don't live in the wilderness with no resources so this is irrelevant. Still doesn't make men superior which seems like you're trying to prove.

On the Man Vs Wild guy's survivor island shows - they had one island of all women and one of all men. The configuration was super unfair - they chose men who had done a lot of camping/fishing and who were engineers etc. The women they picked didn't have such backgrounds and the doctor was the only really useful one.

The men's island seemed easier, with several sources of fresh water and rocks to fish from.

I was yelling at the women to 'build shelter' and beds (where did they get these women from???) in the first episodes and when they filled one of the water containers with pig meat (after they'd caught a pig) - but in general, they did well and pulled together.

In the end, the women were feeding themselves with lots of fish and their only real problem was their big mistake with the water.

In the end, the men did far worse with feeding themselves. They almost had to stop the show as the men were starving.

Overall, the men and women came out pretty even. Women in such a situation would definitely survive on their own (unless the food and water sources dried up - as would men struggle and die too)
