Most of the people on here are obvious alphas. There's nothing interesting to be said about it. If you're a national leader you're an alpha.

At that level a beta is someone like Dmitry Medvedev, or Liu Shaoqi.

Alpha qualities: Leadership, fucks lots of women, inspires loyalty and devotion (even from other men), charming, composed, confident, decision-maker, asserts dominance

Beta qualities: Ignored or looked down on by most of society, seeks attention/approval from others, usually jobless and dependent on other people's income, often physically unattractive, uses kindness as a form of manipulation, uses passive-aggressive manipulation tactics (guilt, shunning, self-martyrdom)

You can't tell if these guys are alpha or beta.

It is very possible for a man to be very "alpha" in his job and social life and be a beta at home. Many CEOs have dead bedrooms. I was there myself before TRP.

The thing is that being a leader has two aspects - there's the stance you take against opponents (they can be external to your group or internal rivals) and then there's the stance you take with your team players. It is very easy to mistake your wife for a team player, but treating her as such is beta. Your wife is not on your team.
