Because that's what masculinity is. Men can fall to the lowest depths and so we're accountable for making something of ourselves. Women will be saved from the bottom and so they're not held accountable for shit. Being a man is taking that responsibility, facing nature, and dealing with all shit easily because that's what we're built to do.

Consider what TRP believes is alpha behavior - dominance and assertive action.

You can be a shitty alpha. I've not seen anyone dispute this fact. I would be willing to submit that it is more common to see an alpha with flaws than one without.

So, your impression is not wrong: raw masculinity does not denote reasonable behavior. That's what makes a successful RP male so rare. If you're a woman, it may be hard to make a point of reference, but being the cause and reaping the rewards of masculinity is a serious undertaking and huge payoff.

I've never felt more rewarded than knowing that my hands, my words, and my actions were the decisive factor in the events of my life.

It's learned, studied, practiced, and requires a huge amount of discipline. That's why ASKTRP will always be full of useless questions like "when she asks me 'what?' what do I say"? There are countless people on the fringe of what it is to be a successful alpha.

Men aren't born more responsible than women.

But I will say women, even fully capable women, evoke protective instincts from people (especially men), whereas men don't...

That said men who are helpless do evoke motherly instincts from women.

However women don't want to fuck men they have to mother, which leads men to never want to show signs of weakness. Because men would rather have sex than be cuddled.

Men almost prefer to fuck women they have to father, hence women are almost incentivized to act helpless and unaccountable.

So I guess humans operate off of SMV validation incentives.

Men are disposable. Sperm is disposable.

Women are protected. Eggs are protected. 'Oppressed', mebbe in the past (not now, of course) but protected.

When shit hits the fan for men, they can starve and die. Maybe less often now in America or Western Europe, but suicide is widespread enough. The nanny state won't allow that to happen to women-feminists would have a field day.

When you realise that no one really cares whether you make it or not, you suddenly feel a lot more inclined to take responsibility.

Responsibility is a desirable trait, inherently. Thus it's Alpha in nature.

You can be a desirable man without being responsible, the same way that you can be a desirable man without being tall.

I agree. IMO RP tends to be conservative, with a better work ethic. BPers tend to be liberal and Democrats. Based on the results I see, the Democratic philosophy is founded upon stealing from the rich, to give to the poor, so the poor don't have to work. Welfare pays more than min wage in 35 US states.

Nor am I claiming the current Republicans have their shit together either. Trickle-down Reaganomics never trickled down to me or anyone I knew.

Since I grew up in a small town in poverty in the 1980s, I can tell you the poor worked very hard for the most part, but they often didn't work smart. They also didn't understand how important personal responsibility and being proactive was either. So the most complaints I heard from them was not "Boy I wish taxes would go down so my pay would go up" but "I wish the gov't/someone else would give me more free money".

This comes from one of our fundamental issues, that I've discussed with you before HSW.

Alpha as "a leader of men" or as "the qualities a woman finds attractive". They are two very heavily overlapping circles on a Venn diagram.

So you could say that Casanova (particularly if you know his full story) epitomises the sexually attractive alpha... Whereas someone like Alexander the Great would remain the pinnacle of the other alpha definition.

RP combines the two, because on the level of real people in real life they are almost exactly the same thing. What makes men "look up to you" makes women "sexually attracted to you".

So RP uses alpha in this way, to cover both concepts.

Responsibility is a leadership quality. Men follow other men that take responsibility for the group and the outcome.

However it's not particularly a quality of sexual attractiveness alpha. The kind of guys who eptimise this are rarely responsible, and often frankly more than a little nuts.

There are ways this is reconciled. Some talk of "civilisation all high betas (leaders) and alphas (sexy nut cases)"... Others of Alpha Fucks (sexy nut cases), Beta Bucks and Alpha Bucks (leaders).
