It just tells them how things work [insert disclaimer: most of the time, for most people] and what actions are likely to get reasonably successful results. Some guys want to fuck everything that moves, some guys want to save their marriage, some guys want to become independently wealthy and never see a woman again. They all live in the same world, so the same reality applies to all of them. The Red Pill doesn’t tell those guys what to do, just what they could do and what might happen.

I almost feel like if I said yes to any question that had this word in it, I’d be admitting something negative about The Red Pill, and that if I said no, I’d have to defend The Red Pill against some example where some other guy said yes. There’s a lot of context absent from this question. When a woman tells you she has a boyfriend, there are four possibilities:

 She has a boyfriend. She’s not interested in you and is telling you so you know to stop making advances on her.

 She doesn’t have a boyfriend. But she’s not interested in you and is telling you so you’ll stop making advances on her.

 She has a boyfriend. She’s interested in you and is telling you to see how you react, and to ensure that when she ends up sucking your dick, it was your idea and she just got swept up in the moment, so her cheating is your fault and not hers.

 She doesn’t have a boyfriend. She’s interested in you and is telling you she does to see how you react, and to ensure that when she ends up sucking your dick, it was your idea and she just got swept up in the moment, so she’s not a slut because it was your doing.

The Red Pill doesn’t tell men what to do in this situation. It just tells them what’s up and what might result in what. It’s up to each man what to do. Are you attracted to the woman and not worried about the risk or the moral implications? Then flirt with her anyway. If #1 or #2 are the case, she’ll make that obvious pretty quickly, and you’ll stop and move on. If #3 or #4 are the case, you end up fucking a woman you’re attracted to.

Are you at a point in your life where this kind of bullshit isn’t worth the risk or hassle? Walk away. Not because she said something that scared you off, but because you have half a dozen other women wanting to fuck you without any bullshit getting in the way. Or even if you don’t, for some men, it’s not worth the risk or hassle just to get your dick wet.

Do you have a personal moral stance against inducing women to cheat? Good for you. The Red Pill doesn’t tell you that’s wrong. Or that it’s right. If you derive value and satisfaction out of being moral and never touching a woman who says she has a boyfriend, it’s your life. A lot of Red Pill guys will tell you that it’s the woman’s responsibility to stay faithful. She’s the one in a relationship. It’s not some stranger’s responsibility to respect that relationship, it’s hers to not suck that stranger’s dick. But that view is far from universal.

RP seems to be amoral and on a mission of busting a nut.

That said I find women who purposely go after married people or continue when they discover they're married despicable and I find men who do the same equally despicable.

Now of course if my husband cheats on me I would be more disappointed and enraged with him than the other person, but if I learned the other person knew he was married I would equally hate their guts. If they didn't know I wouldn't bother hating them. I'll just double up the rage on my cheating ass husband.

Something I read there that makes sense is "its not my job to keep them faithful" in same way if I was dating a girl and she cheated I wouldn't be mad at the man/men it was with, I would simply be upset and done with the girl.

I don't think TRP really "advocates" for or against it. It's a moral question, really, which isn't the realm of TRP. TRP will tell you how to go about seducing a woman but it's up to the individual to decide whether her being partnered is a problem for him.

TRP is a sexual strategy. What people mean when they say "sexual strategy is amoral" is that sexual strategy is for getting you laid (or applied to an LTR, it's for getting you laid and respected and not cheated on for the long term). It's not a code of practice for being morally upstanding.

Not RP, but if someone kept pestering me for a hookup after I'd told them that I was married, I would be less than impressed. Having said that, a girlfriend of mine is a rector, and had a man pestering her for her phone number whilst she was wearing her wedding ring, obviously pregnant and dressed in a cassock. He eventually had to be removed as he was disrupting the service and getting aggressive with her refusal to agree to a date. Some people are really bad at taking no for an answer.

The person with an SO made the promises and took the vows, not the person wooing them. The seducer has no duty to respect their stated relationship, nor to believe them if they claim such a relationship. TRP doesn't "advocate" doing it or not doing it, though it does point out that "I have a boyfriend" is a common shit test that can be pushed through and that is very often not true.

Honestly, my personal opinion?

I think it's low to go preferably after taken people (regardless of gender) because you get a kick out of it. So much about that side of the equation.

Resisting temptation (gosh, that sounds lofty...), on the other hand, is entirely up to the one who is taken, because if there is one person who is owing someone his/her loyalty, it's the taken person to the SO and not some stranger (assuming it is a stranger, of course; if the seducer in question is actually a "friend" of the SO, the obligation to resist temptation is on him/her as well). If anything, the latter is only bound by common morals and customs, but rules and guidelines are cheaper than a bond.

kidding aside, for the last thing(out-competing), the technical term you're looking for is AMOG. There's a lot of material on it if you want it. But its generally not necessary(unless he's being an idiot and provoking you). You can look on the RP sidebar sites if curious.

As for advocacy: if its what you want to do, go ahead. For me personally, its too much hassle. I'm a suit yourself type of guy. And I'm naturally neutral in the way I run game. Women generally don't think I'm hitting on them unless I'm actively making a move. By then I usually already know if she has a boyfriend. This isn't good for bars and competitive environments but I don't like those and ONSs anyway.

But if you're asking specifically for those cases, where she does say she has a BF... well, if I think she's pliable I will push ahead. No question. Because if I know its going to happen(especially if she offers it) and she's cute... well, why not? I tell the guy later though. My reasoning is if it wasn't me, it would've been someone else.

I think this would be a case by case basis done through risk analysis, but otherwise no, there is no obligation for you to not hook up with a girl in a relationship.
