Well, being as how "blue pill" could be read as "absence of red pill", I suppose purple pill would simply be agreeing with some things TRP espouses, but not enough identify with them.

I suppose it's a blend between the raw pragmatism of RP (looks, status, assertiveness) and the morality and and consciences of BP (kindness, respect etc.)

If red pill = /r/theredpill and blue pill = /r/thebluepill then I don't strongly agree with either subreddit but I think both occasionally have good points, therefore I'm in the middle, hence purple pill.

I'm subscribed to both blue and purple pill. I enjoy discussing and thinking about human behavior and mating strategies, but I strongly disagree with TRP's slut shaming and misogyny.

For me in particular, I identify as purple because, although I agree with a great deal of what I read on RPW, there are still just a few things I don't agree with. Since I'm not fully sold on the one end, I must be somewhere in between.

I still consider myself leaning red, though.

I'd describe myself as purple. I don't believe any western country is a 'rape culture' and I don't believe in a current patriarchy. I find the extremer ends of feminism ridiculous. Some of red pill sounds ok to me, but the minute they lose me is the minute they start talking about 'biotruths' beyond those supported by science, which is currently pretty much all of them outside some physical characteristics. The science isn't even close to being properly begun when it comes to making definitive statements about mental, emotional, intellectual differences etc. A lot of red pillers read very young, too - like, teenaged young - and it's not difficult to armchair psychologize their desperate need to be 'superior' to the sex that they so badly want to be with.

I like a lot of what is advocated on RPW for being a good wife, but don't agree with the gendered stereotypes, or the whole alpha/beta schtick. They're too limiting, and just don't apply to my interactions IRL.

Which is the problem with stereotypes, in general.

RP, on the other hand, is too misogynistic for my taste. Any good there is completely buried.

Those posting on the blue pill seem like very hateful people.

1) See women as on the average different from men, but respect and not hate this difference. Also, understand the individuals differ from the average more than how much the averages differ.

2) Not be a sex addict, enjoy and value romance

3) However understand that she needs you to be a bit of rock she can lean against and build upon, so try not to be too weak

4) Neither equality nor harsh dominance, but "caring leader" attitudes. (Never ask her what restaurant to go to, but also never just pull a selfish move - rather figure out where she likes to go and take her there without asking, as a surprise.)

5) Think men are happier if they go out on the world and grab power and fame, and women are happier as caring mothers, but accept and respect that exceptions can exist

6) Testosterone matters. But it is not the only thing that matters, and never forget that women have some too. Still, believe that a man is never really a full and happy man until he does a bit of a testosterone trip like motorbiking or MMA fighting. Lifting is cool but optional - still the easiest way with many other benefits.

7) There are some natural differences but also greatly amplified by social programming. Especially, testosterone differences are the result of both.

8) I want men to be tough, but ultimately, I also want women to be tough. Survivor women. Sarah Connor in Terminator 2 women. I'd rather see my daughter being a bit less attractive than raped or dead. Yes, this is compatible with thinking that I think most women will be happier as moms. Moms can be tough. Moms MUST be tough. IMHO.

9) I am seriously uncomfortable about the idea that rape apologists live on the same planet as my daughter or wife. I think I will be a shotgun dad. Seriously. It is both evil and beta.

10) Have kids really. Saying it both to anti-marriage red pill men and careerist blue pill women. This is the biggest thank-you gift to your parents.

I'm purple pull because I don't fully buy into red pill, but they have very good points. Some of the things they bring up are too true to ignore. Incorporating some of these elements is improving my life.

I'd probably identify as purple, but keep forgetting to add the flair lol. Imo trp has a crude outline of how attraction and social dynamics work, much like the pickup artists. From what I can tell trp is just a bizarre offshoot of pickup, with some interesting but ultimately unfounded predictions of social consequences. I do not identify as red because it's just way too often that I think trp "theory" claims to explain incredibly complex social dynamics in absolute terms. Also, I think most redpillers would agree that there is no scientifically proving trp, it's more of a personal observation thing. TRP very much describes my observations and experiences in real life with uncanny accuracy, but as a skeptic of basically everything from religion to conspiracy theories I really can't fully believe anything to be true without scientific proof. I think trp makes very blunt observations about very uncomfortable truths most people really really do not want to confront, but to me it looks like an outline of an unfinished tattoo with no shading or color added yet.

Us purple people come in many packages but the main basis is equality between red and blue. Blue isn't completely the side we want to take, and neither is red. :)

Blue pill is the way they describe everybody who disagrees them.

Purple pill is the way they describe people who are close to falling for their bullshit.

None of these terms make any sense unless you follow the TRP philosophy.

After many nights of pondering this question, I've come to conclusion that purplepill would essentially have the best of the both worlds - a sort of Hegelian synthesis between two opposites that creates a higher category of understanding the world.

I was mistaken.

Purple pill are those RP who reject the color "red" because commies liked it. And they're not gonna use the term pink pill cause that's really gay - seriously, imagine it : "Tee Hee, I took the pink pill :3 wanna have butsex". That's all there is. Purple Pillers are anti-communist RPers who also hate gay people. And aliens too. Cause David Icke tells me that aliens are green and after careful examination of his arguments, I'm inclined to believe so. If they didn't hate aliens too, they'd be green pilled.
