I think piercings are hot. They add a bit more "flair" to people.

Tattoos can be hit or miss.

Not for me. I got my earlobes done when I was 15 and by the time I was 30 I could no longer be bothered and let them close over. I do know the tattoo I would get if ever I got one, but getting one seems unlikely because I'm underwhelmed by the idea of actually having one.

I think that's just a common cause relationship. Conservative women tend not to be feminists. Conservatives also tend not to approve of body mods. Liberal women tend to approve of feminism and body mods.

Woman here. Personally, I do not like piercings or tattoos (on myself or on others). However, I have one piercing in each earlobe.

I'm generally not a fan. Very occasionally I'll see a girl with an attractive tatoo, but it's pretty much only if she's gotten it in the last couple years. Older tattoos are faded and look regrettable.

Of all the tattoos I have seen, I think there were three I didn't think were ugly. However, I don't consider it any of my business and would never run around telling people not to get tattoos.

Don't have any myself and I haven't talked to enough people about it to have a stable opinion of them. The conventional rp wisdom about tattoos is that generally it would be women who are more daring or wild who'd want them. I.e. women who want more attention or want others to know how wild they are.

It sounds sensible enough, but for me, this is one of those heuristics that I'm confident I could improve upon with more details. E.g. One girl I knew simply got a really dorky/cute unicorn tattoo. Her explanation was simply that she and her sister liked unicorns, and that her sister was run over by a train so it was something to remember her by. I don't think that's really the same as another girl I know who got a rather raunchy tattoo while drunk.

I'm not particularly for or against them in general. It depends on the specifics. Why they got the tattoo, How it looks on them, and so on.

I'm not attracted to them generally. I've never found a small stud in the nose or a lip ring to detract from someone's appearance, but I find that more extreme body mods (gauges, multiple facial piercings, or large tattoos) unattractive.

But that only means I'm less interested in them romantically. I've got friends in all manner of appearances.

Absolutely love them. Neon hair? Yes please. Tattoo sleeves? I'm pitching a tent. I don't know why, but "alternative" girls have always been my ideal. Hell, toss in spacers (but not the huge ones) and I'll date ya.

It just sucks that a lot of the girls that dress like this are hardcore feminists. :(

Could give 2 shits really. It's the 21st century and tattoos are obviously so ubiquitous and popular in American society. It's more about the choice of tattoos/piercing and if it fits. Im not a fan of super bright colors or full dark sleeves on women or other poor design choices. Though, I dont make much of a "tramp stamp" or someone with a piercing. One thing Ive notice is that people are either in or out for liking something like tattoos. This may lead to them to have a lower opinion about someone with them, especially in a country where those with tattoos are associated with something negative (conservative countries or someplace like Japan)

Our bodies are amazing machines. Things of beauty. The way they work, so precisely, yet at the same time all of us being so different from each other.

Our bodies are good to us, so we should be good to them. Exercise, eat well, sleep enough, live good and healthy lives.

Scarring your body with ink? Poking holes in it? Hey, I respect other people's rights to do whatever they want. But it's definitely not for me, and it's a huge turn-off. Back in biblical times, they used ear piercings to mark slaves.

I automatically assume women with a lot of body modifications are dirty dirty whores, and I haven't been disappointed so far. Tattoos, nipple rings, tongue rings, etc. are all giant red flags that practically scream "I'm not wifey material"
