This post is going to be kind of harsh.

I'm going to address two different TRP claims. The first is that women, as a whole, have a much easier time getting sex than men. The second is that women care less than men about raw looks.

Let's pretend for a moment that it's a given that men and women care an equal amount about looks, and that sex is equally easy to get. In this hypothetical world, let's pretend you are a physically unattractive man. You would like to sleep with attractive women, but it is difficult for you because they are not often attracted to you. However you work on your personality and improve your appearance in every way that you can by dressing well and getting fit, and you begin to be able to sleep with more attractive women.

Now let's pretend that TRP's narrative is correct. You have a difficult time sleeping with attractive women because they are the gatekeepers of sex. But you work on your game and become more alpha, and you are now able to game HB9s.

If you were an unattractive man, from your perspective you would not be able to tell the difference between these two scenarios. Furthermore, you couldn't possibly know what it is like to be an unattractive woman, so you can't compare their difficulty getting laid to yours. However, believing the second scenario to be true would make you feel better, because you wouldn't have to face the reality of "people don't want to sleep with me because I'm ugly, so I have to make up for that in other areas.

In other words, if you are a man, unless you are very conventionally attractive and somehow know it, and you still have a lot of trouble getting laid, you have no basis to assert that getting laid is easy for women or that women don't care as much about looks.
