You never get rid of a woman. You simply dial your attention down to her. Eventually, she may ask questions. "I've been busy with school/career/hobby lately." That isn't a lie... it reflects the fact that those things are now more important than her.

In the future, if she becomes interesting again, you can ramp things back up.
