There was a girl I went to high school with who was killed by her rapist after he was released out on bail— he killed her in order to prevent her from testifying against him. He had also videotaped the rape and had uploaded it to rape porn sites. In order to kill her, he pretended to be a boy her age online and got her to meet him at a local park for a date.
