My problem wasn't the laundry. It was pretty much everything else.

When we lived together, my NVM ex was great at "his" chores. What he failed at completely was "our" chores. Sure, he'd do his laundry, tidy his desk, and wash his dishes, but it was like he was completely blind to everything else that had to get done. From washing the sheets and towels, to grocery shopping, to scrubbing the toilets, to buying more cleaning supplies, to taking out the trash... I did it all. He didn't notice the mess, and he certainly didn't notice or appreciate my efforts.

And when you stop doing it they'll act like you're hurting them because they "don't have time" to do it themselves.....even though they managed to have time BEFORE you started doing their laundry.....

shiiiiiiit. I don't do that for my fiance now, and I damn sure won't do his laundry when we're married for 20 years... he's an adult and can wash his own damn clothes.

why so many young women (like highschool-22 yo) post vids of them cleaning their "man"'s place/ room/ whatever?

I mean, tiktok is full of that. also, I am surprised by the younger generation women at how most of them were brainwashed to believe that it's only natural to be a maid to your boyfriend. I mean... I can't even... how is that NATURAL? I mean, in the video, there is this gorl who on her day off cleans after her boyfriend... because it's just a thing we women do, right? how about I am told at my job to go make some coffees and wash the dishes of my colleagues because they're men and they all know it's "only natural" for me to do that? WTF!?!!>
