I have 2 kids (1 still an infant) and I’m reading this after just feeding her and getting her back to sleep. The nights are brutal and the fact I can string a coherent sentence together during the day is a miracle. Newborns are brutal! But the only reason I do it (and did it for the first one) I’d because these are my children... why the hell would any guy “step up” to do this for kids he has no rights to? That he didn’t help make.
