Y’all should grow the fuck up and maybe educate your ignorant ass about asexuality and what does it mean rather than attacking her personally. Asexuality has nothing to do with her culture, that is simply how she is born. She does not experience sexual attraction, simple as that.

However, that doesn’t mean she doesn’t experience other types of attraction. From what I can tell, she feels romantic attraction and is actively seeking a romantic relationship, just like any other person, excluding sex because she’s repulsed by it. Some asexuals, like her in this instant are repulsed by sex and it seems pointless to them, others are sex neutral and some are sex positive! All of them are completely valid asexuals.

Some of the responses here make me feel like they only get in romantic relationships expecting sex from their partners in return for their love. Is that what you really call INTIMACY ? Do you think this relationship is fair and healthy? Y’all really should reconsider your priorities jeez.

Just because you don’t want to have sex with your partner doesn’t mean you can’t be intimate with them. Intimacy comes in many different forms, one of them being respectful of your partner’s boundaries and loving them unconditionally just like they love you.

Sure, some people consider sex very important in a relationship, you do you, no one is attacking you over that. But sex isn’t really as important for others and you shouldn’t be attacking them for having different values and priorities than you. Educate yourself and be respectful of others.
