My partner and I live in Belgium, Europe. He is originally from a town close to Venice and can't go to see his family now for Easter. The numbers of infected people are rising all over Europe and also here in Belgium. We are planning to buy some stuff for the freezer and other essentials.. JUST IN CASE we might get infected and have to be put in quarantine at home for some weeks. (ofcourse we are taking all the necessary precautions to prevent that) Let's hope it never comes to that and in that case it also wouldn't hurt to have a full pantry. My mind is a bit overwhelmed cause I have been dealing with other health issues lately (not virus or flu related) and my partner told me to make a list so we could do some groceries this weekend. I don't know where to begin. I don't want to fail him, this is obviously a homemaking issue so my department. He already has enough on his mind with worrying about his elderly mom and grandmother.

Could you guys help me with some ideas of what is absolutely necessary and/or nice to have extra's of? Both food (like frozen meat, fish..) and non-food (soap, toilet paper..) items. Thanks in advance!

(Btw, I am not sure if this is the right sub to post this. Let me know and I will remove, or kindly refer me to a better one, thanks! Sorry for the mistakes, English is not my mother tongue. )
