I'm just going to run through my backstory here and ask for some direction. I suppose you could say I'm at the beginning of my journey.

I got married in 2015. I would have called myself a Christian, but I was intellectually an atheist/nihilist on account of bad theology.

Three years later, wife has a nervous breakdown and ghosts me. She wants her freedom. Cool. Heartbroken, I lean into my faith and become a practicing Christian.

I finally settled the divorce this January. A week ago, she messaged me saying she wants a divorce (I thought that was funny, so I wanted to throw that in).

I'm ready to move on... I've been ready to move on, but I'm not sure what that looks like. I'm trying to join the Army, but that was put on halt because of the pandemic.

I've also been trying to join the Orthodox Church, but that's been put on hold as well. I'm still praying regularly, fasting, and battling my sins though; I have not taken a break from that. My commitment to my King and my God is imperfect, but I pray that His grace will make it not so.

Where should I be placing my focus though? I'm working out. I have a job. I'm trying to write consistently (writing is my passion). I'm trying to build a community for readers and authors. I'm studying Russian (for the military and for personal reasons).

How do I prepare myself for the next relationship? Do I even bother attempting a relationship at this point (I'm 25 and a recovering NEET)? Do I just wait until I can make it to Russia/Ukraine to meet some of those nice Slavic girls? (I'm really interested in dating internationally. American women are... Well, we need to pray for them as well as American men).

I'm not really lost; I just need some direction so my wheels don't spin. What's next?
