This keeps happening to me as I’m working towards my dreams and decided to quit my toxic job. Women are very shallow about a man not working, even if it’s temporary and the reason is to build a better future. It’s really sad to witness, but it doesn’t convince me to rejoin the matrix.

A few years ago I got laid off from my job. When I didn't have a new job by the end of the month, every single girl in my life (that wasn't a relative) cut me off entirely. It totally depends on what the girl even sees in you, if she likes you for your looks then she wont care that you are broke, it happened to me with a thot once. But it doesnt happen for most men because they arent tall and/or good looking enough. I am 6 foot 4 in height so I get a lot of women who check me out when I go out and they dont know how much I make because I am young and a student like them. Women only care about your income if you make a lot of money or they are over 25 years old, that is when they start looking for a provider, before that age, they think very differently.

I had a friend who was succesfull at quite young age (started his small business and hit the jackpot). Anyway, he had a girl- total gold digger. We tried to explain it to him how it works, but he didn't want to see the truth.

One day he bought his first new car- ford mondeo (fusion in USA). Ok, it's not a ferrari, but c'mon: a brand new car purchasaed for cash at age of 25 with no parents help? I was pretty impressed. Well, his girl wasn't. She said it was a shitty car and she expected him to buy something better. That day he dumped her and stayed single. Hope you don't take offence to this, but I can also see your actions as shallow. Like you stated you're just going to use her for a pump 'n dump. She was using you for maybe some attention, meals, and favours. I don't see anything wrong with the situation, because both of you wanted something from the other.

We're all inherently selfish. I think the less we dwell on what other people do, we can put more focus on how to live our lives in a good way.

Eh, depends on a few factors. For example, what time of the month is it for them (they want different types of guys at different times in their cycle). Are you an 'alpha' type or provider type? Is she looking for casual sex or a long term relationship? Etc.
